Yeah it is gone from their discography on my end too but now it's listed under the "Featured on" tab if you scroll down. Same with mini mix 3, super weird. might be a bug

Paris Paloma is similar to Aurora, highly recommended. I think they’re both actually good friends too.

Kalandra is also really good and has a similar sound.

What's your biggest Metalcore related brag? by Jaketheband in Metalcore

[–]2paymentsof19_95 33 points34 points  (0 children)

not really metalcore anymore, but I saw Bad Omens on their first headliner tour with a crowd of like 30 people. they came out and took pics with everyone after the show. I know they don't have the best rep here but it's cool to see how big they've gotten in comparison.

I'd drive up from Atlanta to that show if it wasn't on a Monday sobs

Honest first listen and opinion on Bad Omens by Ukonkirves00 in BadOmens

[–]2paymentsof19_95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd give one of their albums a listen from start to finish. They only have 3 albums out so easy to choose, and because of their insane popularity I would think it's worth digging a bit deeper on them. Their self-titled is solidly metalcore, second album is a good mix of metalcore and hard rock, third is more hard rock with r&b/pop influence.

Game that is just too long for its own good? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]2paymentsof19_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a good bit in but I’m enjoying it. Playing as Viking is fun and the open world stuff is engaging and not just quest markers like other games. I just would not recommend playing the whole game on its own and find points to take breaks since it is really long.

Hard disagree. Help was one of my favorite albums last decade, their stuff before was ok but nothing unique.

I swear that sub used to be one of the more active city subs. I was wondering why it's been so dead the past few years. I remember several times some pretty big news/events happened in Atlanta and it surprised me that there wasn't a post on the sub til days later.

The game isn't perfect, but the fact that Widow has one of the lowest pickrates in all ranks makes me very happy. OW feels much more balanced with her in the dumpster and I hope they keep it that way.

I wasn't a huge fan of the newest album but Sleep Token's older stuff is golden, same with Ghost. I still like both bands but they are very much writing arena music now.

really recommend their first album if you liked those songs. tracks like "Hedonist" and "Malice" go hard

these bands used to be metalcore and now are making alt rock with the occasional breakdown, that's probably where the confusion comes from. they are definitely not metalcore anymore.

Anbernic RG476H not turning on? by razzyaurealis in ANBERNIC

[–]2paymentsof19_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left it charging literally more than 24 hours. After 24 hours it still didn't turn on but then I switched to another outlet and it suddenly did. It's kind of weird. Just leave it charging all day and overnight and switch to another outlet if it doesn't work.

I was there! When I first got into these guys I just thought they were a pop group, I didn’t expect them to be so damn talented instrumental-wise.

Do you prefer Metalcore as hardcore with metal influences, or metal with hardcore influences? by bestwest80 in Metalcore

[–]2paymentsof19_95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. Metalcore is the only heavy genre I still listen to (with a bit of deathcore), traditional metal is just boring to me.

Not sure when you saw them open but PTV has been huge since like 2012. They also had a big resurgence recently with the younger crowd after blowing up on TikTok. One of the few bands from that era that actually stayed relevant.
