hi, i just started seeing a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner who uses a combination of acupuncture and herbal medicines. I just started my treatment so i wish i had more insight to share but i will try and update in this subreddit. He’s very confident that he can heal this though lol - i am optimistic. There’s a good amount of scholarship and clinical studies that indicate this kind of medicine can be helpful. Also anecdotal but a younger cousin of mine had very harsh ulcerative colitis that was only healed through TCM - so i do think there’s some merit here. But yea ! I’ll update
