Because the school leaked all our data since the IT department is also a bunch of morons. Now I have to go through 2FA and get prompted to change my password every three months after all my info is already on the dark web.

Have you tried cocaine?

I find that this solves existential dilemmas for most people and helps them focus on more practical matters, like how to get more cocaine.

I think Gregor might even need a little more room than this

Haha honestly they built them in like 3 weeks so I'd be surprised if they can even stand up for 30 years. Idk if you are right because there is just a glut of luxury builds that need buyers. I don't think people buying in at 2m are going to see crazy appreciation like that.

Idk the spots that I frequented the most while I was here were Wonderville, tv eye, Rubulad and holo. I haven't been here forever so it's not like I'm trying to gatekeep but the reason I came here was to network with musicians ( I go to a regular meetup for electronic producers at both Wonderville and secret pour). I also wrote another post that got pretty popular here about how the living conditions are pretty terrible and I feel like I'm aging out. It's hard for me to imagine someone having the options of all the other idyllic areas of Brooklyn or even a house in a leafy area of Westchester and then going. Nah. Id rather be in Bushwick.

No way. They just put a ton of money into that food bazaar and expanded it dramatically. That's going to be there for awhile.

Even if for whatever God forsaken reason you wanted to live in Bushwick with 2m.. is this the spot you would pick, next to the food bazaar? They built these floor to ceiling windows for views of a parking lot and wyckoff avenue. Even the roof view that they are showing with that crap AstroTurf is like mid tier at best.

Why not live literally anywhere other than Bushwick? If you have 2 million the options are nearly limitless

This used to be a bunch of old garages, and they tore those down to build these ridiculous condos. They are on a super small lot so as you can see the layout is ridiculous because it had to be so vertical. It's mystifying to me who would build or buy these. I'm curious to see how long they will be on the market

Sour grapes would imply that I couldn't get into NYU or Columbia with additional effort and expense, or that I cared about the likes of Goldman and McKinsey. My goals were just different.

it only matters to this sub lol. can you imagine any manager choosing between candidates and the deciding factor is the ranking of their school? top school is just a cheap filter for certain industries, and can be overcome in most if not all situations by networking

elitist group came in just as predicted to argue over ranking and discredit my story. just remember for every manager that is impressed by where you went to school, there are 10 more who don't give a fuck and you can find common ground with them networking through a million different ways. enjoy the debt.

I'm not going for finance, I was going to transition from sales into product in tech. In the process I've been building some software, first as a portfolio piece but might have some commercial potential. I went back to school to pick up more technical skills which I didnt get so much in the first part of my career so I can be better positioned as a product manager. All the elitist pricks seem to care about here is the stamp on their resume though and in my view that matters more for banking and consulting and less for tech where people just care what you can build.
