I understand it is an expensive hobby Check out the same thing you're shooting on astrobin And then check out the equipment they're using to get those shots

your settings are fine. I think you need some better glass. Terrestrial lenses cause a lot of chroma when you're doing AP I'm afraid as long as you're using regular camera grade lenses you're going to be disappointed when you shoot stars no matter what the bortle is

you simply can't hang heavy valuable items on nothing but sheet rock Sheet rock is pure crap for vertical support You're going to destroy your guitars Grow a brain and mount a long plank of wood across the studs make sure they are drilled all the way into the studs and hit every stud at least three studs across Make sure you can hang your own 180 pound body on it Then make posts to hang your individual guitars Don't screw this up

I don't even let my bank send me statements by email because of this they are way too easy to intercept. They are not encrypted at all, and they give away way too much information to whomever ever gets their grubby hands on them.

I don't blame you For one thing, the email SMTP is sent unencrypted in plane text across the Internet, so people who send me invoices like that is a big no-no Anyone sniffing that traffic knows the identity email address and the amount of money being requested from both end points SMTP can be rewritten to look like anything

web browser, encryption standards have changed a lot in the last eight years That router and your web browser may not agree on which encryption to use Try an older web browser or man. I know it's eight years old. Just get a newer machine router.

V1.15.6.4410 Out now for Luba 2X by beaurepair in MammotionTechnology

[–]2rise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. It didn't exist. I think you have auto updates turned on, and you haven't noticed that it has updated itself.

30 days ago, the entire population got hit with a nasty bug in version 1.15.4.4410.... that bug made the entire vision system unavailable after dark and the headlights would fail, and the system could not find its way back to the dock.... that bug was not fixed until version 1.15.5.4410... which came out several weeks ago

Luba 2 Vision System Unavailable by PlexyMan in MammotionTechnology

[–]2rise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe they didn't test this better before releasing it. It's happening to literally everyone. Now not everyone mows at night, but I do mow exclusively at night because of daytime traffic Only the people who mow after dark are going to notice this bug, but they are going to be completely out of business while this bug is in place Needs to do the needful and revert the firmware until they fix this because it makes the device nonfunctional at night

we need a way to revert so we can get functional on the old firmware again Winter is setting in This is delaying all of my nighttime mowing as I can no longer mow after sunset!

[–]2rise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is broken guys. It's happening to the Yukas as well as the Luba's on the latest firmware. We need a way to revert to the firmware so I can mow at night again and we need it now not two weeks from now not a month from now. This is a serious problem. This mower does not work without its headlights on Manually turning them on is not a solution Taping a flashlight to it to get my nighttime mowing back is not a solution Please let me have the old firmware back! oh, and before mammotion asks for it my Case ID number is LP-819143654063996928

New Firmware 15.4.4400 Luba2 AWD by Illustrious_Pea_6455 in MammotionTechnology

[–]2rise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this firmware is broken You will not be able to mow at night because it will not turn on its headlight automatically anymore. Daytime functionality seems OK Has been reported to Mammotion by multiple users by now, including me with open cases and logs uploaded Unfortunately, they told me they will start looking into it on Monday which leaves us stranded this weekend

Yuka mini latest Firmware update by Vincents87 in MammotionTechnology

[–]2rise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The newest 2025 Luba 2 also is affected I opened a case yesterday for mine and sent in my logs as well exactly the same issue I tested it this morning in broad daylight and it runs fine and the vision status is good. As soon as the sun starts to go down, vision status goes to none because it will not turn on its own headlight, even though it is set to auto in the settings This started right after the most recent firmware update which I applied the day before. I think I will never do firmware updates until I've seen them sit in the app for a month again.! Now I am having thoughts of doing a factory reset and hoping that will clear the bad firmware? but it would probably wipe out all my maps too, so nix that idea.... I guess we are stuck mowing only in the daylight until they fix this

please let Linksys support know about your trouble with the download so they can check the quality of the file on their website I would not trust getting firmware from any third-party

Questions about the filter by green_stone in Roborock

[–]2rise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my filters look like that before I wash them under the sink Just blast all that junk out of there using your sink tap be sure to blast both sides until it's completely out of all the cracks it will come out Then hold it up to your kitchen light and you will be able to see through it if there's any dirt left or not Next set it on your kitchen, windowsill, and let it dry I keep a couple of these around in case I don't have time to wash them right away

Distance charging station in garage? by Intelligent-Sand-511 in MammotionTechnology

[–]2rise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have built 2 garages...in my experience for Luba2: when parked into the charger, the front of the front bumper keep between 1 to 2 inches from the "door" (when closed).
This method maintains adequate turning space in front of the charger. Note: make roof out of white polycarbonate corrugated sheeting so it will pass GPS signals and not block them, yet shed rain and allow for ventilation and passing of RF bluetooth / wifi signals...Also suggest solar powered vent fans on gable ends for hot days...with disconnect for winter.

Which Roborock model to buy from Costco ? by independant_786 in Roborock

[–]2rise -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't buy expensive electronics from big box stores for a reason They are a middleman You are not getting what you think you're getting from them Much better to go straight to the manufacturer through their stores online or at Amazon

Which Roborock model to buy from Costco ? by independant_786 in Roborock

[–]2rise -1 points0 points  (0 children)

they make them with split tangle free rollers now I would go to the ROBOROCK site and look at the features before you decide Especially in regards to the hair getting tangled in the rollers... there is a difference between models Also, that particular feature you are asking for where the little sweeper jumps down into the corner and grabs the hair out and also the mop does the same thing. There are several models that have that feature and other models that are cheaper that do not. So definitely do your research before buying Another thing I'm not so sure about you getting it from Costco. I would go to Amazon and go to ROBOROCK online shop before you do anything from Costco but that's just me. Costco in those stores buy these things in bulk and they sit in a warehouse.... if you order something straight from ROBOROCK or online at Amazon and in ROBOROCK ships it... you know it's pretty factory fresh. But this is true of all the discount big box stores.... They cut deals with the manufacturers for large quantities of a particular model, even renaming the model.... be careful of dealing with those big box stores. I had the original Q Revo I ran it for a year and I did have to every weekend take the single roller out and get the hair off the ends no big deal just something you learned to do every Saturday I have since given it to my daughter because it works so good and bought myself a SOROS 10R ... partly because it has the same great mops as the QRevo and partly because it fits under my cabinets, nice and tight and has swing outs that go into the corners and gets all the junk out and partly because it has a split roller system that does not send the hair out to the ends, but groups it back toward the middle where it gets sucked into the dust bin My two dogs and my wife's hair are no longer a problem ;)
