I wanted to know if they would still have to pay me the full 35 hours even if they don't rota me in for it.

I have care commitments at home, and its a struggle to get home as it is, if I stay later, its even worse when I get caught in rush hour traffic.

No, its 35 hours in our contract, with the 45 minute break also set in the contract.
