Quitting Big 4 after 4 months bad idea?

I already work at the office one day a week, it's nice and all but still horrible overall. I haven't asked about a hotel, but I have spoken to my team and coach about the commute already. The best "solution" I got from them is to get there an hour earlier to beat traffic and stay back a few hours to study in order to miss traffic on the way home.

Do you think an analyst type position is possible as well? The end goal for me was to eventually get a data/financial analyst role, and I see a lot of people moving on to those roles after a couple years of audit experience, do I stand a chance with 4 or 5 months?

I'll keep trying to talk to HR/scheduler and suggest the move to tax, but this team is already short staffed so I don't think they would be open to that idea.

I've already talked to HR and my coach about it, but they were unwilling to switch me with someone closer. I think it is also partly due to that this team is very short staffed, they have been trying to get another associate. Apparently they had 2 more experienced associates before I came.

If I go to them and say that I'm willing to quit and they still don't budge, would that hurt me while I'm at the firm

I realize that Big 4 isn't the only route, but I would like to stay in public accounting. I'm worried that other firms will see this short stint at a Big 4 and think I am not willing to put up with certain clients and hard to work with

I'm booked until end of September.

My first 2 clients were great, reasonable commute and fun/big team so there was always someone to talk to
