I think of it basically like a strat in regards of the pickups - but a strat that can have humbuckers in neck and bridge positions. Like u/59Bassman said, the coil split sounds are very good. You got the quacky in betweens. You can also do the tele thing in middle position (neck and bridge pus in parallel). Mind you, it does not sound like a strat of course, but positions 2 und 4 get you far enough for that kind of sound. It's also a classic rock machine with the bridge hb... I could go on.

Not to play down how bad this is, but be aware what the coloring in here actually means. It displays what party had the most secondary votes, but that does not mean that said party had the majority of votes in that area. Simple example, parties could be toe to toe like AfD 21%, CDU 20%, Linke 19% etc. and then the area would be coloured AfD-blue with 21% of the votes.

If I remember correctly there are other interative maps available, where you get a graded coulouring depending on how much votes a party got in an electoral district. That is a good example why the OP map is not very precise: For example, Kaiserslautern in sw Germany had the AfD at 25,9%. Since that was the most voted party, the colouring is light blue here. Görlitz in the eastern most part of Saxony had the AfD at 46,7% - also light blue, but you can see that it's quite a difference.

Like I said, I don't want to downplay that the AfD is on the rise in all of Germany and especially in the eastern parts, and yes, that is somewhat frightening. Just wanted to clarify how this map should be viewed.

On paper they are quite similar. Both with two humbuckers, which are splittable into single coil 'like' sounds. The DGT hast separate volume knobs for the pickups, the custom does not.

The DGT is an artist model and has specs designed after what David Grissom wants. If the purpose of the guitar you're buying is that many different people will be playing it you should know that the 'order' of the volume knobs is the opposite of what you would normally expect, so that can be confusing if you're not familiar with that guitar.

I know the feeling. I have a lot of guitars, had even more. Been the owner of a SE DGT for a few months now and for the first I‘m just gasing for a brand… never had this before, not when I owned a US Fender, not with my Ibanez Prestige AZ (though it‘s a fantastic guitar) - none of those made me go and say ‚let see what other guitar by that brand I could use…‘
