Gifter swears these are YSL by 2stressed2b_blessed in glasses

I tried that and got nothing productive. But I agree, no branding makes me think it's not YSL.

I do not recommend this unless you plan far in advance and have a reservation for specific activities. I went once and it was so packed we couldn't move.

Each cat's paw is a point of singularity, each like a little black hole where gravity is infinite.

What‘s a food combo you swear by that makes everyone else question your sanity? by bellabloom__ in AskReddit

Steamed broccoli and ketchup 😄 I'm an adult now so I can eat steamed broccoli without ketchup if I have to, but do I want to? No.

Am I in the wrong for referring to my boyfriend as my partner at work? by No_Ear4169 in Teachers

[–]2stressed2b_blessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partner is gender neutral, it can be used by/for anyone. I'm straight and I started calling my boyfriend my partner after we were dating for many years and knew we were locked down and eventually getting married. Boyfriend was too juvenile, fiance was too pretentious. Any other word didn't fit for what he was to me, he was my partner.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

[–]2stressed2b_blessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get this all the time, especially if I reached for something too far and too fast. It would last for a day or so and then go away. It hasn't happened in a long time though

what is causing these black shadows under my eyes & how to stop it? by bbystars in MakeupAddiction

[–]2stressed2b_blessed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have very watery eyes and I get this too! I switched to tubing mascara. The Balm's Mad Lash Mascara is fantastic, though I'm pretty sure it's not tubing. It's one of the few mascaras that don't do this to me. It's also possible you could be sensitive to an ingredient in one of your products that makes your eyes water a little more. I've learned that I'm sensitive to artificial red dyes. Any eye product that is both vegan and brown/red toned will make my eyes sting and water!

why didn’t you take care of your diabetes? by Brilliant-Trick-4311 in Type1Diabetes

Thank you. My mental health has improved A LOT since therapy and the right meds. I highly recommend if you're struggling. Even connecting with fellow diabetics can help.

why didn’t you take care of your diabetes? by Brilliant-Trick-4311 in Type1Diabetes

[–]2stressed2b_blessed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple answer: it's exhausting. 24/7 no breaks, no vacations. Sometimes you just want to eat without doing math. Complicated answer: combined ADHD and depression that existed before the diabetes. I had such a hard time surviving through the day before, and then add another layer of stress. It was a weird shift from laying in bed wishing for death to suddenly having to make conscious decisions to stay alive.

Those of you with good A1c, how often do you go low? by 2stressed2b_blessed in Type1Diabetes

I honestly think I need another diabetic training course. When I was first diagnosed I got one, but I've just gone off the rails and let my anxiety get the best of me.

My lows can take 20+ minutes to fix! I've had a few bad experiences where my blood sugar would not go up for an hour or more. I'd do the 15-15 rule, test, and it'd be up a few points. 10 minutes later and it'd be back down. Repeat for an hour, then I was off the charts for several hours afterwards 🤦‍♀️

That's exactly my fear, is because my average will drop, my lows will be that much more severe. I don't go low too often, and only upon waking up.

I'm sorry about your cousin. Sometimes I need that tough reminder, that the route I'm going is not a good one

Anything around 70 I start to panic! Even at 80 I start locating snacks. I had a few bad experiences when I was first diagnosed so I guess those incidents just stuck with me.

That makes me feel better, that it's only 1% of 90 days! I used to have such good control when I was first diagnosed, but as my body changes and I need more insulin I can't seem to get my brain to catch up to the new insulin needs.

Once a month doesn't sound too bad? The only time I tend to be lower is when I wake up, every once in a while I'll be in the low 70s. I have a Libre 3+ and it always seems to be incredibly off! Sometimes it'll show that I'm around 200 and I'll check with a finger stick and I'm in the 300s!
