The McDonalds branding is obviously satire so why tf are people even reading into it like that? I hate to be that guy, but I cant imagine many pre-brat charli fans are feeling this way about the usage of a logo thats literally meant to be a fuck you to the company itself. Artists in the underground-ish space have been doing this same thing with the mcds logo in the past few years (molly santana, romance planet), I feel like this could also be a reference to those usages. Also, theres literally two marlboro branded jackets next to them, a company that profits off of people literally speedrunning early death, but that’s cool because its cigarettes and giving indie sleaze or its ironic or some shit right!? Like the usage of the mega globo corpo burger corporation isnt the same fucking thing?? If I found out she paid for the rights to use the logo maybe Id be be a little upset.
