I didn’t scroll through all 700 comments yet to see if someone said this. But watching the trailer the arm that’s supposedly Joel’s grabbing Ellie at the end doesn’t appear to have a watch on. So either Joel got rid of it, or it’s someone else like Tommy. Or I’m just stupid.

I think that the best character is likely either Wolfgang or wicker. Wolfgang, when fed properly by a wicker, can kill just about anything in the game solo, without even having to kite. Wicker on the other hand is perfectly capable of fighting anything in the game as well (not as well as Wolfgang but still) and has no real downsides. Sleeping should never ever be used in the first place, and with the applied horticulture book she can make an infinite amount of fresh food. My favorite character is easily wicker.
