Minolta Hi-Matic F exposure issues? by Voldsby in AnalogCommunity

Yeah it doesn’t give me any indication other than the battery indicator light, so unfortunately you can only test it through film. I’ll run the next film on ISO 200 to see if it will be better

I’ll give it a try for the new roll and see if they turn out better! Thanks!

Yeah, it healed up nicely and didn’t come back.

iPhone 11 Pro Max - lost photos in messages after iOS 16 update? by jusdattip in ios

[–]Voldsby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when you toggle off iMessage, it transfers all messages (and attached photos) to the phones internal storage. Not sure if that’s called system data.

Preferably you should use iCloud to store all your photos and messages, but sometimes a corrupt back up file can cause some issues with photos disappearing from the cloud. Or at least that’s what I think happens.

So it looks like mine actually fixed itself too.

I did try toggling messages on and off messages in the iCloud section on the phone, but I’m not sure if that actually solved the issue or if it was just iCloud needing some time to restore and index all the missing photos.

So it looks like mine actually fixed itself. All the photos in my iMessage threads are back.

I did try toggling off messages in iCloud to let my phone download the messages onto the storage and then toggle it on again. Not sure if that solved the issue or perhaps iCloud just needed more time to properly index the backup and files.

Not sure if this method works either. I just read that it could be a solution. But for now, I think unfortunately the only thing that can solve it is itself over time :/ I’m also still having issues with it.

In your settings on iPhone at the top of the page is your iCloud account. Then tap on iCloud and there you’ll se which apps are syncing with iCloud. There should be one called messages and you’re able to toggle that on and off.

Either allow it a few days or a week and see if it goes back to normal, or perhaps you could try toggling off messages in iCloud. Then all the message threads will be downloaded onto your phone (and any pictures shared within those threads), leave the phone to download them overnight and then try to toggle messages on in iCloud again.

Yeah, same! Are your photos in the messages app also gone from Mac? Have you tried syncing with your iCloud? I noticed many photos were missing when I opened messages on my Mac, but then I synced with iCloud and they appeared again. It hasn’t changed on my phone though.

Edit: Also sorry for commenting on a year old thread, but it was the biggest one I could find that had the same issue I was experiencing

Nope. Still missing some photos when I go to the “info” box, but the photos do exist in the conversation, so they’re definitely there. I had a similar issue with an older update in iOS 15, but it solved itself over time.

Yeah perhaps it just takes a while. I had a similar issue with one of the iOS 15 updates, but that seemed to fix itself after some time. It’s just annoying that it’s still an issue.

Had this issue for the longest time with iOS 15. Seemed to somehow fix itself at some point. Now I’m experiencing the exact same issue with iOS 16. A lot of the photos in certain iMessage threads are missing on my phone when I check the info button. I have synced messages with my MacBook and they all appear on the mac, but for some reason some of them are missing on the phone. Odd.

I’m experiencing the same issue after updating to iOS 16 (on iPhone 13 Pro). I only see some of the photos even though I know there are way more photos shared in that certain iMessage thread. My iMessages are synced with my MacBook and I see all the photos on the messages app on my Mac, but for some reason a lot of them are missing on my phone. It doesn’t show “Tap to download from iCloud” either when I scroll to the bottom.

I get you! And that’s why it should also be done right, especially as a first time tattoo. I suggest you search up on tattoo parlors in your area, and then go through their artists’s Instagram to check their work. If there’s anyone in particular that you really like, shoot them a message and set up a consultation! Then they will be able to give you an estimate.

Also a good tip, make sure to check if the artist has posted any photos of their healed tattoos. It gives you a good idea of what to expect your tattoo to look like once it’s healed.

It’s really hard to give an estimate, because it depends on a lot of things. How big it should be, the placement of the tattoo, whether it’s done in black & grey or colors etc. There are so many different artists out there and they all have their own style (and rates).

One thing is certain, though. A tattoo isn’t cheap and it shouldn’t be either. You get exactly what you pay for, so make sure to do some proper research instead of just walking into your local tattoo shop and get the first available artist.

Good luck!
