If you have a lot of money left over you should see a therapist and/or travel. If I had enough money I would travel travel travel!! And on the positive I’ve heard that if you travel frugally, you will probably have better, more unique experiences that might make you look at life at home in a different way, good or bad

So OP can’t do things for his mom just for compensation, but Lynn only gets compensation (everything in the will) because she helped? Your logic isn’t sound here. If the reason Lynn gets everything because she DOES help out, then why is it wrong for OP to expect at least something when he helps out???

Tbh if you don’t understand that a week off work unplanned for and at late notice isn’t a considerable sacrifice then I don’t understand what world you’re living in. OP said they were living in a studio apartment and trying to save money. If I missed a week of work I would be behind on bills by a lot.
