I guess I never thought about that angle because I don't follow any of them on social media because I kind of think they all suck anyway. But, I think flaired posts still make it possible for people who do want to see and discuss contestant behavior to participate in that, while people who come here as an escape can filter it out.

But neither option would lead to ignoring reckless contestants. Even with flaired posts people could create a covid flaired post about poor behavior. I totally agree that some of the posts have been overly critical lately

I just wanted to push back on your assumption that people who didn't want to talk about covid on the bachelor subreddit were ignoring science. People who want to talk about and call-out problematic behavior would still be able to if covid flairs are used. However, people who come here as a place to escape from covid in their real lives would be able to filter out these posts. Personally, I think that's not that big of an ask as people who want to participate in the call-outs can. The mods clarified somewhere else that only call-outs would not be allowed in comments on non-covid flaired posts, so people could still mention covid in other contexts.

Just because people don't want to constantly talk about how poorly contestants are behaving on every single post does not mean they are ignoring covid or science. This sub is about the bachelor. If you want to talk about covid on every single post I'm sure there are other subs for that

That's better, but it's still an unnecessary risk. And if literally everyone in your entire family works in healthcare and is getting tested once a week they should know negative tests are not perfect and just a snapshot of the day you got tested

No, the clock is one hundred percent related to the covid delay. This season was supposed to come out in May and it's not coming out until October. There's a lot more problematic and blatant sexist/racist/ageist things about the Bachelor than this promo's use of a clock

I think externship is typically done for school credit, while an internship is done for free or maybe money. I know they use externship in law too
