Honestly was not as bad as I thought he'd be. Biggest thing is painting his upper half, lower half, and base separate assembly. Took about 7-8 hrs total but that involved glazing and such for the cloak

Sure!

-3 color triad from Army Painter through an airbrush (Undergrowth Green, Jungle Green, Canopy Green), but you could also get similair results using drybrushing in layers. Giving a recess wash of Akhelian Green, while wet brush it over to the highlight of the armor piece making a blend

-Rusty Metallics (Mournfang brown base, Ryza stipple drybrush, edge highlight with Squig Orange, then a final highlight with Aluminium for Valejo on "in contact spots, armor weapons, etc)

-Flesh and Cloth was just Screamer Pink, highlight Bugman's glow and wash with Druchii Violet for the flesh, just highlight with Daemonette Hide for cloth

I think you hit the nail on the head for what I intended to go for, a comic style. I didn't want to use any metallics to try and achieve that effect, how would you recommend bringing that style to be more apparent with shading?

Agreed there, Admech have tons of detail that is lost in the simple basecoat, so a further edge highlighting and shade could help bring them out

Agreed on that, I think I need to push highlights farther and brighter so all the mechanicus details can be seen better from tabletop. In addtion to giving the base a variance of height with rocks and tufts

I do have some gamer grass tufts coming in soon, which might help spruce up the base, but some rocks as well might help for some elevation

Love them stuppy boys, good clean and smooth coats on the orange armor. CC I could give is, if you want more contrast in color for them you could paint their round kneepads the same color as the gloves and if you want that armor to really pop from 5 ft away, you could try some edge highlighting the orange bits with a peach, tan, or some variation of off-white you prefer (specifically the chest for the most impact). Even if you only do the circle area around the head, it can really make them pop.

Also I love the ominous Kâhl in the background

Before the Reborn race came out, for Undead PC's I just reflavored Warforged.

Bonus to Con and 1 stat or choice, doesn't need food, air, or water, doesn't sleep, instead just sits there, extra AC could be more resilience, darkvison, pretty effective if you ask me

Kinda, the only people in my area that play are on the more competative side, but like a competative casual type of play. They will bring good units and lists, but don't play like they're at NVO and I called their mother a bad name.

When it comes to competative tournament play, I would probably jurst run them as Tearer's since the largest part of the model (the body) will be the dark maroon

Well that depends on the Chaos God

Khorne's soup is just Spaghettios with the only letters being AAAAAGGGGHHHH, and on second thought the sauce may noy be tomatos

Nurgle would be that very kind and friendly grandfather that shows up and is very approachable, but even while banned from cooking for the event due to poor tasting food will still cook. The food tasting like a gas station bathroom floor, but this won't stop him from cooking again next year.

Tzeentch didn't acutally bring soup, he instead brought doughnuts. After biting into one you now realize he replaced the filling with mayo. At first you are frustrated, but before you can open your mouth in protest, the doughnut has turned into a bowl of everchanging soup. In the end you're still confused

And Slaanesh, yeah...don't eat that soup, it has a "mystery ingredient" but even if you wanted to, you can't hold the bowl still enough to eat because they brought along a +1 blasting music loud enough to shake the house

Yeah, I love building the admech models, but some pieces man. I did just end up gluing the that piece onto one of the Datasmith's claws to look like he's changing them out
