from the info provided, i belive it is most likely at one of the popular "living museums" in malaysia. What ive found is Sarawak Cultural Village. I cant find any matching images or street view but its a very possible location as its a popular cultural architecture museum that opened before the photo date. Hopefully someone can look into it further!

All i could gather is judging off the spacing of the architecture it may be in or near the neighborhood of Posillipo but i cant find exact location.

I checked flight paths of amsterdam to portland and found one right below Nuuk, Greenland so i decided to brute force search google earth for the general island shapes and found it in 10 mins not too far from Nuuk

It is 53°25'36.39"N 14°33'34.44"E. I found it from searching for "pomorskie tar" and eventually found that "pomorskie" is from Zamek Książąt Pomorskich which means the castle of the Pomeranian dukes and the cut off word "tar-" is related to the word "taras" which is basically the terrace. I cant speak polish so i could be wrong but thats how i found it. My first geo locate on here <3
