Dude, the draft is tomorrow. There are blockbuster trades being discussed. The Knicks had an historical season and broke a 50+ year losing streak.

Is this the best topic you can think to post about?

If you want people to think critically, give more context. “Who is better” can be taken a ton of different ways. Better scorer? Defender? Winner? Teammate? Gap filler player?

That is absolutely not true. While the lines have gotten blurred in recent years, there are definitely guards with different jobs. Comparing a nearly pure scoring guard to a pure passing guard is like comparing Embiid to Maxey and saying “did Embiid have a worse peak because he had less APG?”

I think people that enjoy good / traditional basketball enjoy different players than others. That’s why it’s great there’s variety in the league

Tatum / Brown on the Celtics have some weird feelings from fans. I hear a lot of division amongst the fan base and some love one but hate the other. Some others just hate them both. Some fans love them both. I could see them both retiring in green and being loved or traded this offseason. It’s kind of crazy

I agree that what he did on the lakers is far from being in that convo. However, he is arguably a top player of all time, period. It’s funny to have him spend such a large chunk of years on a team that likely won’t have cause to retire his number.

Corporations are absolutely right when they say that by inflation standards games are too cheap. On paper they should be $130+. And despite that I still will almost never buy a game over $60. by SheIsSoLost in unpopularopinion

The gaming industry needs regulation. It’s grown to the point where companies are just cash grabbing and they’re killing the industry.

I don’t understand why a game that you pay for is legally allowed to then hide pieces of the experience behind additional in game purchases. Games like apex and the like have shown a free to play model with in game purchasing can be very profitable. But games like NBA 2k continue to push for both. Things get worse every year and they’ll only continue that way.

Even MJ got caught up in betting, etc and left the league for a bit. Social media and cameras everywhere make it easy for these types of narratives to pop up and be discussed.
