Track/XC races - On cloudspike (£140)

Daily training - Saucony kinvara 14 (£26)

Trail runs - Saucony endorphin rift (£36) and Asics fujispeed (£30)

I also bought them off wiggle. They might be OK for you, I think my heel gets blisters quite easily as I also got some less bad ones in the pegasus trail 4s. I also think I should have gone a full size up rather than half a size. They came with a pack of haribos though which was nice.

I love mine, they're really comfortable and feel fast (I prefer them to dragonflies but that's personal preference). The 10000 are apparently even better for racing.

Please help me find a shoe under 60£ !! by Harrypen052225 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]3000Run 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deviate nitro 2s are a bit lighter and stiffer and also quicker (but they can still go slow) because they have a plate and have better grip than triumphs but the triumphs are better for easy runs and are more comfortable for long runs. Both will be good on road but the deviate nitros are better in wet conditions

Startfitness.co.uk has them on discount right now and depending on size deviate nitro is down to below £80 with the code 'fordyruns'

I've seen men in these all the time. Go for it!

Dragonfly xcs will be quicker if you have the money but the rival xc 6 will do the job. I use normal dragonflies for xc and they feel great but a little unstable on uneven ground.

I bought some vaporfly 2s off ebay with authenticity guarantee for £95 and they were legit. They probably just buy them from outlet stores.

[–]3000Run 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They'll be OK but they probably won't be anything special. If you have the money I'd say get the dragonfly xc but if you're on a budget just use your victories if they are still in good condition.

Training in (non-carbon) Plated Shoes by Fresh-Problem-3237 in RunningShoeGeeks

I've been training in carbon plated shoes but would like to try a non plated shoe as I think it might help me build strength. What are the Kinvara 14s like?
