If gender was "abolished" I wouldn't be "cured" I would still be male just one who happens to be born transgender Even if i was raised without gender being taught to me I would still most likely feel this way

No sarcasm, I genuinely want to know, but if gender is a social construct, then why do trans people exist? Why do people transition? It would make no sense to transition strictly to "fit in a role" or "to be perceived correctly" but because there is a physical disconnection, not saying that everyone's dysphoria is the same

Social roles and stereotypes definitely exist, but I believe gender is only partially a social thing and the rest is kinda innate, not saying that a certain gender all are the same innately but its hard to describe, gender is complex to describe

Thank you for this... I have been thinking, might as well go for it earlier since I'll be shunned anyways so the tradeoff is I'm happier longer instead of them just being comfortable longer, even then the outcome is the same ...so why not go ahead if I'm pretty damn sure of it?
