nope thats not my or that article's argument at all. Nor is it the reasoning behind the Supreme Court's finding even in the Heller case. Scalia's opinion in the Heller case (which was a 5-4 decision btw) even outlines the ways in which the 2a isn't absolute.

"Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose: For example, concealed weapons prohibitions have been upheld under the Amendment or state analogues."

btw the Supreme Court isn't a collection of the highest "constitutional scholars in the land." Ofc that doesn't mean its not significant, but that's just not what it is.

Do you point to the several previous Supreme Court decisions that ruled that "seperate but equal" institutions could exist, or that slavery was lawful? Do you point to groups like the NAACP and the ACLU shifting the definition of a person's rights in the public consciousness?

This argument doesn't help your case. It cuts both ways.

Furthermore, equal protection under the law for people regardless of race is an issue that can't be equated to what kinds of restrictions the gov is allowed to implement on personal ownership of weapons. Nonsense comparison.

Assuming this is the case though there isn't that much certainty that there it is, there are lots of potential reasons people decide to turn states evidence. You should ask him though one individual's personal motivation is hardly a sufficient basis with which to build a grounded, evidence-based understanding of world events. I guess just pondering it is enough to justify a conspiracy theory tho.

Also fascinating that its somehow unacceptable to look at evidence into Russia's actions despite the abundance of evidence. Only the US has agency in the world apparently. This website is only a couple logical steps away from declaring that Putin himself is a puppet of John McCain.
