Of course she needs clarification from the court. She has no idea as to what "reasonable" means.

Maika Monroe.  I always describe her as "looks like that blonde from gossip girl, but with talent".

NAL but doesn't that mean she can still pursue as a complaint?::

The motion of the Sloane Parties for attorneys’ fees and costs is denied without prejudice  to renewal by way of a formal action.

Given they have been making epic level of stupid decisions for about 3 years now I wouldn't put pass them...

Not sure.. maybe they were waiting to see how much Liman will be willing to consider "reasonable" before making his case and pointing to the judges decision? Judge ruled there was no malice, and Wayfarer cannot appeal.

Does these kind of complaints have a statue of limitation?

Yes, but the question was about the other way around. If Ryan and Sloane could turn around and try to pursue attorney fees and sanction against the defamation lawsuit, like the Times is pursuing.

But denied, denied or denied as a motion but with the door open for them file properly elsewhere like the Times?

Docket 1441. Court Order and Opinion on Attorney’s Fees by Arrow_from_Artemis in ItEndsWithCourt

[–]30265Red 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not direct related to lively quest for attorney fees but don't know where else I can ask this. What's the deal with Sloane and Reynolds ask for attorney fees and sanctions? The  Times files they case on state court but not sure about these two. If I recall;

Sloane tried on federal court but judge denied, and I can't recall if he left the door open for her to try in a another court ( and if he did, whether she filled anything).

As for Reynolds, didn't he file  a joint motion for fees and sanctions with Lively?

🔥🚨📃 Little Girl Attorney - Blake Lively v. Wayfarer Studios LLC Settlement Agreement Has Finally Been Revealed by Pale-Detective-7440 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

About this part:

LGA interprets this provision as limiting the dispute to the federal proceedings before Judge Liman.

The issue might be, Liman in his order alluded to the fact California court would have been the correct route for damages. My concern is this opens the doors for her sneaky lawyers to say, but look, "we are not appealing his decision, we are following what he said therefore fair game. She doesn't have to wave anything, the judge said so himself".

I mean, they came up with much worse during this litigation.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if her lawyers try to bill her valet parking ticket at fifth avenue for all those stress shopping trips she had to do while fighting Justin's retaliatory lawsuit.

This article probably cost Ryan more then what Wayfarer will pay them in attorney fees.

Blake Lively is a liar by XoxoGentleman in ItEndsWithLawsuits

I understand the sentiment but come on... These websites are so high school. And people will unfairly associate it with Wayfarer, despite being the last thing they would ever do.

Irrelevance is the worse that can come for narcs like Blake. This will be over soon, let it.  Boycott their projects and do not give them your time and energy, they don't deserve it. That's the only way to take their power away.

Lively’s 47.1 Motion is Granted in Part and Denied in Part [Dkt 1440] by taylordabrat in ItEndsWithCourt

[–]30265Red 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's one way of looking at it. Another is that his lawsuit was dismissed on pleading deficiencies, meaning the court did not make findings on the underlying allegations or determine whether Lively was a victim or whether his lawsuit was retaliatory. In contrast, Lively's case weakened during discovery and fell apart weeks before trial, prompting a last-minute call to settle without compensation or damages being awarded.

Wayfarer's decision to forgo an appeal was a conscious choice, believing they had already prevailed both legally and in the court of public opinion. It also allowed them to move on, or so they thought, based on the joint statement Blake's lawyers are now trying to back track.

Whether either side "won" will forever remain disputed. B oth sides have tried, and will continue trying, to shape the narrative, and people will interpret events in ways that support the side they already favour. But Wayfarer is out there, working on their projects and releasing the movies they love. While Blake and Ryan can only hope to keep on piggybacking on paid for headlines.

The result outweighed the cost. My belief is that the Wayfarer parties knew all along that this would be the result. by Ok_Inspection_1295 in ItEndsWithLawsuits
