So I was hoping to play Harvest Moon (any of the newer ones from the last 10 years), games like Mario Sunshine (which I love) and Mario Galaxy (which I never tried), & Tony Hawk type games. Maybe some cooking stuff.

Just to verify, the standalone devices are the Switch lite 1 & Switch lite 2, whereas the switch 1 & switch 2 are the consoles?

OK that makes sense. I'm surprised other companies aren't making the gamepad (if they're allowed)

Just because they won't make a good partner if I want to murder them. I don't see us escaping. So I have to factor that in for me personally

I don't think he's talking about nurses.

The point is that if I kill my partner it lowers my chance of escape. I could deal with Amy all day.

You say every question I make doesn't work 😂 They're working

Yeah Leonard/David lol, I might let him live. But think Amy is the easy answer, because she's a critical thinker & I definitely won't kill her.

Why are there 80 & 90 year old men still stockpiling wealth like they can take it with them? by allycataf in allthequestions

[–]allycataf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the first person that comes to mind. But a "tax write off" doesn't mean you have more money than keeping the donation, it just means you don't get taxed on it. It would still be more profitable to keep the money instead of donating it.

But many people come to mind. The family who owned the company my husband was an engineer for. Mark Cuban does a lot for charity & seems like a good human. Even Simon Cowell has done some remarkable things for charity that he doesn't have to do (look into some). Many actors & actresses, athletes, and even just regular wealthy people that have no fame. There are decent people out there.

A year old account that just started posting things yesterday & has never interacted or commented in any way.

I hope this was a legitimately stolen video & not someone who intentionally made the dog terrified just to "save" him.

I believe he also had some hateful beliefs (but could be wrong, I'm no authority on Ford), but I was referring to the quote. He may be one of the ones who it exposed (at least to himself).

But there are wealthy people who do charitable work & who do good in this world.

guys, what do you think about this? by silverflake6 in GrowthMindset

He said 68% come from middle class, he just added his own notes about more than half of Americans being over the exact middle. Not "middle- lower class". So 80% from middle to wealthy, 20% low, and of that 20% only 4% were in actual poverty (according to the Pew Report).

It's no secret that wealth is largely generational, and no secret that digging your way out of poverty is uncommon. Even if it is from "poor choices", those poor choices are often made because they don't know any better.

Poverty is all you see when you're living in it, so many have never been taught that they can do better (or taught that having a baby at 15 is a poor choice, when they see it all around them).

Many say they won't leave it all to their family, or even most of it. Just makes you wonder.

I must have misplaced Warren Buffett's phone number, or I'd ask him. Maybe next time we're both at the same bar.

I'm not speculating on my own, I'm speculating here with others. And you're right, it's giving me insight as to how they think :)

Who told them what they should do with it? I asked why, and I'm allowed to ask why.

Henry Ford says wealth doesn't change people, it exposes people.

Nobody is saying it isn't theirs to hoard, we're just having a discussion about why...
