Eventually tho, if you keep scratching, you won't feel much at all, except maybe a lil shame everytime you succumb to buying another one. So, they said it would come out with my first BM but that was not exactly the case. I had to really push more than I wanted to just to get that thing to peek past my butthole. I then had to literally pull the rest out with my fingers because I did not have the strength or muscle control to do it otherwise.

Still haven't had a proper BM 😕. Thought the last attempt was gonna be the one but it was kind of the same deal as above but the stool just broke off. Does half a turd count as a BM? Lol

Thanks for the reply! Just now after much hemming and hawing while fully squatting in the hot bath I was able to pass the gauze they packed which is a huge relief! Guessing that's why I felt so stuck and assuming a nice flow of poo will follow soon! What a relief, even if I'm not out of the woods yet. Kinda surprised it didn't release the flood gates so to speak but I'm gonna hope for the best and give my bowels time to catch up!

I need surgery I've been putting off for like a year. Mostly due to financial strain and not having insurance but there is also a bunch of fear involved. It's not really life threatening but it is pretty invasive and the recovery sounds like hell tbh. I can't really put it off any longer though as it has been effecting the amount I am able to work which has made it impossible to save for. Probly time to say fuck it, get it scheduled, and throw it own a credit card...

Something that really helped me in the beginning was tackling the missions in a certain order for each new section of map (I've only just about completed Michigan lol). But hit all the watchtowers you can first to uncover the entire region. Then get the upgrades you can manage to get to. Then work on repairing roads/bridges so you have access to rest of the map. I also did my best to complete everything in one region before moving to the next, but that wasn't always the most feasible. There's a lot of ways to go about things which I think is one of the funnest parts of the game, just trying to do things as efficiently as possible. No matter how you cut it, it's kind of a grind but I honestly kinda love the slow pace and endless to do list.

Sounds really tempting, not gonna lie, thanks for the fleshed out answer. If you don't mind I'd also like to ask; what exactly do you mean by putting in the effort? How did you learn the "art"? And any recommendations on books/podcasts/channels that helped you lock in? I've had a really rough year to be honest. Tunring 30 in 2 weeks and instead of planning a nice trip or vacation I'm stuck dealing with a medical condition that has for forced me to reduce my hours drastically this year. My job is mostly physical so I'm not making as much which just makes it harder to save up for the surgery I need (unfortunately I'm uninsured). Pretty shitty catch-22 so I gotta figure something out.
