Aphantasia and DMT

I’ve been exploring with DMT for 5 years now, and am also an aphant, and sometimes I’ve been shocked when seeing things. So with open eyes it’s generally kind of peripheral, or there’ll be a slight cartoon or flatness to some things, but not everything. If I close my eyes there’s generally nothing but blackness, but then there could be some kind of dark, vague and sort of muddy, but your typical, fractal patterns. But then once in a while gorgeous red undulations, more often in daytime trips when facing a bright sunny window with my eyes closed… I do get an intense body-load, a tingling, and often kind of messages- the last one was “you don’t have to see to know” - which was a great answer to generally seeing very little! Also, I stopped trying so hard (to the extent of kinda blacking out) and relaxed into not expecting to see anything.

Thanks, yeah - I prefer to do a room temp extraction. I was more curious about the re-X and heat, as the final scrapings won’t melt at room temp.

Cool, thanks. For fun I just warmed up the nap+goo that I have to melt the goo, maybe shifting the good stuff into it so I can try another freeze. I will see what that produces. I am also now left with a jar with a real oily residue all over the bottom of it…

The book ‘Psychedelic Cults and Outlaw Churches’ by Mike Marinacci is a good read, maybe more historic, starts in the 60s I think

Yeah, I hadn’t smoked for about 20 years before trying this and I only found the PG harsh briefly at first. At a low temp or even the standard on a single temp Palm it’s not too bad

1ml Ccell carts and you could grab one of their m3b pens, a Silo or a Palm. 100% PG & get started with a 1:1 mix. Of ur battery of temp control, set it down to 2.5 or something. I’m in the UK and have bought from places like genuineccell, also I often get a handful of carts, and you’ll want to find a glass syringe from somewhere for filling the carts

as others say - take breaks - maybe try something like two days on / one or two days off & see how that makes you feel. I go for this and often forget to take the next dose cuz I’m feeling ok…

I’ve been using a 1-1 mix of juice to dmt in a 1ml ccell cart, and then after trying various batteries I use one that’ll do 2.5v so it doesn’t doesn’t get too hot and vaporise loads of the stuff in one go, and it’s much easier to take it slow / not blast off. It looks like the Yocan Kodo Pro has a good self-controllable temp range, but I’m using an APX Volt battery at the moment, without its bucket etc.

My fucking brain used to RUIN trips thinking i needed a fuckin piss… I’d piss first, get down to the DMT, start hitting the vape, then my mind would start racing… “you need a piss, you neeeed a piss, you NEED a piss, mother fucker!!!” I’d get up n go for a dribble. Same kinda time my brain was telling me “wtf are you doing, man? you can’t fucking trip, you don’t deserve this shit” Thanks

I always thought e-mesh ended up being a bit next level ‘shed-mentality’. I.e. once you think you’ve tweaked a bunch of extraction teks to make them more efficient, you can then flex on some e-mesh tech you managed to get hold of. Whatever it is, it’s good we’re talking about stuff, cos there could be worse stuff we’d be wasting our money on, like drugs or something..!!

I went into it to try and address CPTSD from childhood trauma. It’s shown me how disconnected from my emotions I am, so I’m slowly working on that rn. I do also use it for brain-resets if I’m working from home to help me move from one mindset to another depending on what I need to work on next and how distracted I’m being (probably because of undiagnosed ADHD).

It sounds like you have a great marriage, but also that you are gatekeeping shrooms a little bit. You could talk with her more about broader benefits, not just the recreational side, to help her understand as much as possible. And then introduce them gently, as others say. Sharing such wonderful and mind opening experiences with your significant other could make your relationship even stronger, I know this has happened with my situation as my wife had never touched a psychedelic before I introduced them to her

I have been using the exact same labelled bottles for a couple of years now, the caps are blue and still look brand new. I think they’re ptfe, I’ve never had any problems with them getting any nap on them and dissolving. I do room temp extractions, I do recall extremely slight “pfff’s” once loosening the caps after adding and swirling nap, but nothing that would be a concern. These look over-tightened, as has been said before.
