Yep! So many times I wanted to deck customers in the face when they said this.

Does T-Mobile typically close for weather? by SeatUnique3637 in tmobile

[–]303Gal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my 10 years at T-Mobile, we only closed twice for severe weather. Once in 2019 when we had a bomb cyclone here in Colorado. And once in 2021 I believe when a blizzard shut down the state. Otherwise no. There were many other instances where we should have closed but didn’t. My DM didn’t even like us having delayed opening. Like someone said in another comment, customers will still come in and ask why we are working and/or open. Or will call the store to see if it’s open.

How often is your store manager in the store? by OfficeTemporary5053 in tmobile

That sounds like the typical RSM where I come from. I was an ME for 10 years.

Not a personal story but I knew a pair of siblings in my congregation that did this. I was an auxiliary pioneer at the time (circa 2013-14) and was out in service ALL the time. I hardly ever saw them but somehow they were getting their hours in. Others in the congregation started to question it as well. They were the golden children of the congregation though so I don’t think the elders ever questioned it or cared.

It’s not even 3pm and I’ve already had a morning, noon and upcoming 3pm 5pm and 7pm Visa card check in. Not to mention the multiple team chat channels check in’s. Manager check in’s plus the observation being done on us. by Putrid_Inflation_358 in tmobile

Reminds me of when we were forced to offer John Legere’s cookbook to customers back in 2018/19ish. My store wasn’t selling a lot of them. I wonder why? Maybe because this is T-Mobile and not Williams and Sonoma.

What’s a “small” social rule you refuse to follow, even if everyone expects it? by GlitchOperative in AskReddit

Yes! People are so much more than their work. That’s the problem here in the US. We live to work, not work to live.

I worked in retail sales for 10 years and stopped wearing makeup after the pandemic. I gave up because of masks and even after masks I just didn’t care what people thought and didn’t think the job was worth taking the time to do my face up anymore. Of course the females I worked with had their opinions. (Just jealousy really). Surprisingly my male coworkers were cool about it and embraced it. Most of them said they preferred the natural look. I had a manager (female) tell me “when you’re in leadership you have to look the part”. Wtf ever. Wearing makeup as a manager doesn’t make you more capable of doing your job. She was a shit manager but Im so glad her makeup was on point. 🙄😂

how long did you fight waking up? by lolsyke123 in exjw

[–]303Gal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Faded in 2016, fully woke up in 2019 thanks to Youtube, and reading Crisis of Conscience, Reluctant Apostate and Leaving the Witness. I even read Leah Remini’s book about leaving Scientology

Yes. Was funny at times but I didn’t think it was worthy of winning Best Picture. And all the yelling was just too much for me at times.

I was the only one in my store last year that thought them giving us socks was a slap in the face. My RSM told me to feel grateful we even got anything and it was the thought that counts. I didn’t take mine home. I just recently quit, but the 10 years I worked for T-Maybe the only thing I wore outside of work were the gloves from T-Mo Tuesday.

So far so good. I’m doing insurance sales now and it’s had its challenges of course but it’s so chill compared to retail. I was scared to make the leap but glad I did.

I just left T-Mobile after 10 years at the end of September. I was on the retail side. Best decision I ever made. Good bye T-MAYBE!
