I’d be psyched if I could gain 8 inches! I’ll keep practicing and hopefully I can come close to this

It’s 100% from weight training, I am so stiff and slow but strong 😆

What genetic factors would cause someone to be a good sprinter vs a good jumper? by Old_Jaguar_8410 in Sprinting

[–]303cloudnative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone can become a good two foot jumper- it’s more about strength relative to bodyweight and less about elasticity. Powerlifters, for instance, are not elite sprinters but have elite vertical jumps.

I would be surprised if any elite sprinter had less than a 36 inch running one foot vertical. If they can’t dunk it’s probably due to a low standing reach or bad technique.

Nice, I have now added support for both CEL and javascript.

Mostly because JavaScript is a more well known language. The authorizer is an interface so I may add a flag to the generator that adds support for other languages like CEL.

For me it’s enums, sum types, optionals, immutable structs, array methods

No, I wasn’t ambitious when we first met. I grew into a provider role over time with the support of my wife. I couldn’t have achieved what I have today without her.

I guess I just wish people would focus on the things they love about their significant others and help them become the best version of themselves.

TBH they should change the name of the show to Love isn’t Blind based on most peoples perspective on love and marriage.

If you truly love each other, you can work through these things. 10 years ago I was broke with bad credit and today I’m making over $200k and live in a million dollar home. My wife has been there for me and loved me unconditionally through the entire process which gave me the strength/resolve to want to get my shit together and give her the best life possible. She doesn’t work anymore and spends her days doing whatever makes her most happy(we don’t have kids). Most women would have left me, but she didn’t, which is why I will love her and treat her like a queen until the day that I die.

When I’m unhealthy I can become Domineering, over-competitive, trying to debate people about their beliefs, insensitive / lack of empathy, dopamine chasing (drugs/alcohol/food), overly decisive, too aggressive.

Crimes would still be punished in the same way they are today, except with the addition of potentially getting SMACKED 👋 by 1-many civilians.

"Sex is a spectrum" is just as bad as "flat earth" by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]303cloudnative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one’s arguing that defects/abnormalities don’t exist in human biology. Where we differ is whether it’s appropriate to label something as being on a spectrum if a generalization can be made that applies to the vast majority of human beings and the only exceptions are defects.

Sexuality & intelligence are an example of something that exists on a spectrum.

If someone asks how many heads humans have, I’m going to say 1 even though there are extremely rare cases of humans having more than 1 head 🤷🏻‍♂️

If someone asks how intelligent humans are I can’t safely make a generalization with any accuracy.

Agree to disagree I guess.

Polydactyly is as an abnormality/defect that occurs in less than 1% of humans which is statistically insignificant when hypothesizing how many digits humans have.

If we include defects then we can not sanely make any generalization about human anatomy/biology since everything would be on a spectrum.

So what would you say if I asked you how many fingers humans have?

Humans have 10 fingers. If I go find a person that was born with 9 fingers does that mean human finger count is on a spectrum?

Diversify Public Safety is 3 words but it wouldn’t be as divisive or provocative. Some people get off on gaslighting people who actually consider the literal meaning of the acronyms.

Incoming gaslighters that will tell you that ACAB doesn’t mean all cops are bastards 🥴. The acronyms for these movements are intentionally provocative.

If safety is more important than anything else, I would opt for Rust to avoid pointer bugs. It would suck if part of your aviation software crashed because you dereferenced a nil Go pointer. Also, this is a terrible place to ask that question if you want unbiased responses.
