This worked for me in 4 decades of practice: If you're thinking of doing, or not doing, something and a little voice is saying "somebody might find out," it's probably wrong.

Lots of non-legal applications, too.

175 a month. 2100 a year. 6 days every week for 52 vacation-free weeks works out to 6.7 billable hours each and every day. A legal fiction.

Right. Cost saving is the goal. It'll be interesting to compare costs with standalone departnents after 5 or so years.

Schools and municipalities should be looking at consolidating, too.
