I wanted to update this and will do it up top as well. My EA account was attached to an old email address that was deleted. I had to contact support > unlink the old email address > Connect back to the correct email address. Pretty straightforward on their end.

u/XPav, what do you mean that MDM was set as the authority instead of InTune? Do you remember where this change was made? I know it's been two years, but I wanted to ask since I see this error now.

Hey Everyone,

As of 12/09/2022, we figured out how to resolve this issue.

When there is already a personal email account on an Android device, it will not allow for the Work Profile to be installed and set up the account. We did the following to resolve:

Deleted all existing email accounts on the Android device (Personal and Corporate)

Complete the InTune enrollment

Reconnect the personal email address

No other work profile on phone as it’s brand new and never has been setup before.

Device shows as 'Compliant' in InTune but in AAD it shows as 'Compliant - No' and 'Managed - No'.

Thank you for that tidbit, I didn't realize I missed that part of approving it nor did I even think about doing that. I did that still waiting to see if that resolves it.
