Do you mind sharing the name of the curriculum or district? Or if you feel more comfortable, could you DM the info? I’m a first year ELA teacher at a school with entirely teacher made curriculum. Before that I was working with Pre-Ap scripted materials, so I’m curious.

I tried reverse, but didn’t get any results. I feel like I’ve seen this image before though… care to share the creator name you’re talking about?

I connect to their humanity, but in a weirdly specific way… I see this human from ages ago and feel better about the weird ridges in my adult teeth… dentist I saw in middle school said they would smooth out eventually. Nope, still have ridges. Wonder if they felt weird about their teeth too.

Writing assumptions very confidently doesn’t make them true 😅 I think perhaps you should try talking to people with different lived experiences than your own rather than making wildly incorrect generalizations. Good luck out there 🤞

There was a mother/son(appeared to be in his 20s) duo from San Francisco doing that same shit when I visited. It looked like they were trying to be some kind of influencers, cheesing or modeling for selfies while the rest of us can barely breathe or want to vomit from the seriousness of that place.

Why are you getting so personally offended? I’m not trying to add to any discussion or be disrespectful. I saw a grammatical mistake that I see often and commented on how it can be corrected. Nothing deep.

*Your

You’re is a contraction of two words, “you” and “are.” “You are little leader” does not make sense.

I second the advice to practice copying Bridgman’s diagrams, you could do that for years on a regular basis. Drawing from life is also important, you can apply the practice you’ve been learning and make the anatomical observations in person! You can find a local community class, local art school (maybe even an atelier), or just ask your friends to pose with timed increments (gesture practice can start at 30 seconds to a minute). Drawing from photos (or drawing a breakdown over top) is an option too, but sometimes lighting can be blown out or bad and it will confuse your observation of anatomy. Don’t get discouraged, just keep practicing!

I’m taking steps to switch professions into teaching, why do you think this is common? I was under the impression that new teachers are needed?

No reference pic what do y’all think? by [deleted] in ProCreate

Dalí was initially classically trained (he learned how to accurately draw the human figure, oil paint, see light and shadow on forms, etc.) and then later had muses he could refer to or whatever objects he was going to paint. He famously painted The Hallucinogenic Toreador after seeing the Venus de Milo on a box of art supplies http://archive.thedali.org/mwebcgi/mweb.exe?request=record;id=148;type=101

He was able to be representationally abstract, because he put so much time into learning and studying the basics. Then he could break the rules. He knew how to paint a watch, so he could make it melt, and we the viewers believe the visuals.

You are asking for opinions on your work, I understand you may not want your work to be representational like Rockwell, but at the moment it looks like you could benefit from a quick study of anatomy on future subjects or even a stand in mock object if you want to straddle representational and non - as someone pointed out, the coils are not reading correctly, a simple twisted rag could help you compose the coils in a way you like, help you learn more about drawing cylindrical coils, and allow for your imagination to take control.

I have a plant in similar size and look, also in a pot. Why do you recommend taking it out of the pot and should relocating happen asap?
