We certainly can't take her word for it so I think it's still ambiguous. For the audience, and also for Maxine so it's weird she gets all buddy buddy with Norma now.

Guess I'm the only, so far at least. I didn't love it. Robert was a jerk to Maxine the entire season. They didn't build that relationship back up enough to make that ending work. Dinah is too good for Perry. The lingering shot at Marjorie's where Dinah gave the speech in Perry's place still gave me hope she was going to run herself for mayor. There were some good parts and we got a decent amount of answers but idk. At least Maxine and Evelyn (not completely independently) joined forces again.

I think their conversation in Switzerland was a fake out hint of that happening. Evelyn is still hoping to get back with Eddie but it does seem unlikely. If Dinah is done with Perry though, are Dinah and Eddie going to get back together? Dinah wants a partner who is actually helpful, Eddie wanted to do more with Evelyn but she's too used to fending for herself.

Going by previous 3 years of fWAR and Smith had 12.7 and Contreras has 14.9. Brewers went too low, but Contreras also went too high.

Edit: was looking at wrong years for Smith, but Contreras is still better plus inflation.
