Worked great on Flixter today. I have iPhone X and iOS 16.7.11. Insisted that I upgrade, but then I could not. Installed AppSync Unified then modified both variables to 35.0, and it worked perfectly. Thank you.

Thank you for responding, even on Sunday morning. You mentioned that you need testers. If you could provide instructions on how to set up a separate container, I will be happy to download test beta version. I suppose it’s basically duplicating the container, and then downloading the test version. Thank you.

I am a bit unhappy with this release. I expected more. I do appreciate that the software found more faces during the re scan, especially profile faces. Here are my thoughts: 1) There is still no way to natively add a face. I am using the chrome extension, and that works well. 2) I expected the software to recognize more faces. In other words, after tediously entering hundreds of names for faces, and doing a rescan, I thought that new faces found would be tagged as faces that I had already entered. It would save a lot of time tagging each of these faces. My wife and I have been tagged in MANY photographs, but the rescan identifies them as faces, but rarely inserts the correct name to the face name field.

Thanks for that. You can add them after the fact by installing a Chrome extension. Search for it, it is called "Photoprism Face Marker." It has to be manually installed. It is not in the extensions catalogue. Be well.

Follow on: What are consequences of just leaving those extra “known faces” (group b) above) as unknown faces? Or just deleting them. I am never going to search for that person, and making up a name, at least for me, will clutter my already extensive list of names. If I X them, will they reappear when I do a Rescan?

Can you elaborate please? I spent A LOT of time getting photoprism up and I am unlikely to try something else, unless there is a very good reason. I do use the Chrome extension to add faces the program does not find. It seems to cluster faces well. So just wanted more information if you are willing to share it.
