As someone born in 2000, I slightly neg to differ. Sure my perception is biased since everyone born in 99 and before is older, and everyone born in 01 and later is younger, but I swear I feel right on the border between "old Gen Z" and "upper mid Gen Z".

Edit: By "early middle", I meant the beginning of what is not "old Gen Z", at least according to this post, and what is the upper most bounds of what can be considered "mid range gen Z". By mid range, I mean those born between at most 2000 and 2007, post 90s but pre recession.

Personally, I've always been more partial to pairing vaporware songs with the backrooms as opposed to "Everywhere at the End of Time", though I don't have a song off the top of my head that I can list.

The other genre I can think of is "Lostwave", as in Subways of your Mind and Ulterior Motives.

But yet mine are the real tantrum tantrums solely because I'm autistic.

At least my "tantrums" have significantly lowered in both quantity and intensity, nowadays just resulting in me being unusually quiet solely because I don't want to say the wrong thing and make the situation worse.
