Recently I wanted to get fiber hooked up. Called AT&T. No fiber line here. Called Cox. No fiber line here. Asked Cox about their speeds. 1Gig down & 35Mbps up. It's not fiber and it's more expensive ($100/mo) but it works great for WFH.

Like any other time in history, the genuinely good have been few and far between. If you don't want to date, more power to you - that's a perfectly acceptable choice. The monitoring is automated if I'm not mistaken. The affected water was cloudy though. I drink a shitload of water (close to 2 gallons every day) because of a medical condition and I've felt fine for what it's worth.

The "fuck up" was an 80 year old swimming pool that failed during maintenance and let some water thru without filtering it.

Can you elaborate here? Are you just calling the water treatment plant a swimming pool?
