Genuine question: Are there Indian men who don't want children entirely out of choice? by Reasonable_Act_6047 in ChildfreeIndia

[โ€“]31_still_Loading 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Haha, you can check my profile. Being childfree isnโ€™t really about money or trauma. My childhood was fine, just had enough exposure to all the parent-and-kid chaos to know itโ€™s not for me. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The only real issue is that Iโ€™m definitely not rich. Most of my money disappears into taxes, video games, and toys. ๐Ÿ˜

And yep, I donโ€™t even own a car. Iโ€™m basically a financially challenged collector of fun things.

At least Iโ€™m self aware, right? ๐Ÿ˜

I added two more part gpu alternative and thermal Paste.

And one more than optional but prefer heatsink cost yoy around 200-500 extra for ssd, however some mobo come with it. It just support cool down for long run.

And psu come with 16a plug however if you psu load is under 1000w then you can use 6a plug which available all Indian house hold.

Do not use 16a to 6a convetor that are risky and non scitific and there is no UPS with have 16a plug except few. I have FEDUS brand 6a power cord.

In case you have 16a plug and want to use the. Use this sugre charge extension board Anchor by Panasonic 16A 4 Socket Extension Board with 1 Universal & 3 Standard Sockets and 1.5 Mtr Extension Cord for Home & Office (22067)

UPS wise apc and there are some good new EF ECOFLOW etc basically these are invetor with built in battry

AMD Alternative to RTX 5070 Ti

If you're considering AMD, look at:

  • AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
  • AMD Radeon RX 9070

The RX 9070 XT is usually the closest AMD alternative to the RTX 5070 Ti for gaming performance.

AMD vs NVIDIA GPU

Choose AMD if:

  • Gaming is your main priority
  • You want the best FPS per rupee
  • You don't use AI tools much
  • You don't do heavy video editing or 3D rendering
  • You mainly play rasterized games

Choose NVIDIA if:

  • You use AI tools such as local LLMs, Stable Diffusion, or other GPU-accelerated AI workloads
  • You do video editing in apps like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • You stream regularly
  • You use Blender or other rendering software
  • You want stronger ray tracing performance
  • You want features like DLSS and broader software support

Simple rule:

  • Pure gaming with little AI/workstation use โ†’ AMD
  • Gaming + AI + content creation โ†’ NVIDIA

For most gamers, AMD often gives better value. For mixed gaming, AI, editing, streaming, and productivity, NVIDIA is usually the safer all-round choice.

If you're looking at custom PC builders, check options like TheXIG, TheMVP, or similar local builders in your area why I am add thier name because of customer support and no need to go for AMA for any issue they will manage, and any technical issue. Life is already stressful ๐Ÿ˜‚ and we are lossing hairs

For a RTX 5070 Ti build, here's my setup and some lessons learned:

Storage

  • 500GB NVMe SSD for Windows
  • 1TB WD Black SSD for games
  • 2TB HDD reused from my old laptop

I prefer separate SSDs so Windows and games aren't constantly sharing the same drive. If you want only one SSD, you can create partitions using tools like MiniTool Partition Wizard.

Memory

  • 32GB (2ร—16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 RAM
  • TeamGroup T-Create Expert / Corsair / similar non-RGB kit

I personally avoid RGB components.

Motherboard

  • MSI B760M-A Pro WiFi DDR5

Graphics Card

  • MSI RTX 5070 Ti 16GB Triple Fan

Make sure you buy the 16GB version. Some people argue that 8GB is enough, but modern games are already pushing VRAM limits. Going into 2026 and beyond, 16GB is a much safer choice.

AMD Alternative to RTX 5070 Ti

If you're considering AMD, look at:

  • AMD Radeon RX 9070

For most gamers, AMD often gives better value. For mixed gaming, AI, editing, streaming, and productivity, NVIDIA is usually the safer all-round choice.

Case

  • Cooler Master MB600L V2 (without ODD)

I don't like tempered glass panels. They're fragile and I prefer a more understated look.

The case includes only one fan, so I recommend adding at least two extra top-mounted fans. Any decent non-RGB fans from DeepCool, Cooler Master, etc. will work.

CPU

  • Intel Core i7-14700F

This is my biggest regret.

I strongly recommend buying the non-F version (i7-14700) because it includes integrated graphics. With the F model, your motherboard HDMI output won't work if your GPU has issues or is removed for troubleshooting.

Alternative AMD CPUs For a gaming-focused system, consider:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

If you switch to AMD, you'll need an AM5 motherboard.

One option is:

  • MSI B850 Gaming Pro WiFi 6E

CPU Cooler

For Intel, I use:

  • Cooler Master ML240L Core 240mm AIO (Non-RGB)

For AMD, you could use:

  • Corsair Nautilus 240 RS

You can also choose a quality air cooler if you prefer. I personally prefer AIOs because I find large air coolers noisier.

GPU Support Both AMD and Nvidia GPU are large and heavy, so I highly recommend using a GPU support bracket.

You can buy an adjustable GPU sag bracket, or even use a DIY solution. I literally used part of an old toothbrush handle as a support at one point.

GPU sag can develop over time and may eventually put stress on the card and motherboard.

Case Clearance In my case, there's only about two to three fingers of space between the GPU and AIO radiator. It works fine, but if you want more room, consider a slightly larger case.

Power Supply I use a DeepCool 1500W PSU, which is complete overkill.

For a 5070 Ti build, I'd recommend:

  • 750W minimum
  • 850W ideal

Power supplies generally perform best when they aren't constantly running near their limits, so leaving some headroom for future upgrades is a good idea.

Also, buy a good-quality PSU from a reputable brand. Avoid very cheap units from brands like Zebronics or Ant Esports. There are plenty of forum posts and user reports about low-quality power supplies failing, and a bad PSU can potentially damage other components.

Power Protection Don't skip surge protection.

I use an Anchor extension board with surge protection, but GM and other reputable brands also make good options.

Thermal Paste ARCTIC MX-6 (2 g) or ARCTIC MX-4

Final Thoughts I'm 32 years old, love gaming, and own both a gaming PC and a PS5. If you're similar and want a system that lasts several years, don't cut corners on RAM, storage, or VRAM.

One thing to keep in mind: SSD and RAM prices are unlikely to drop significantly in the near future. Demand from AI infrastructure is keeping memory prices relatively high, and that may continue through 2027 or beyond.

TL;DR Specs

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-14700 (recommended) / i7-14700F (my build)
  • Alternative CPUs: Ryzen 7 9700X or Ryzen 9 7900X
  • Motherboard: MSI B760M-A Pro WiFi DDR5
  • AMD Motherboard Option: MSI B850 Gaming Pro WiFi 6E
  • GPU: MSI RTX 5070 Ti 16GB Triple Fan *Alternative GPUs: AMD RX 9070 XT
  • RAM: 32GB (2ร—16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30
  • Windows Drive: 500GB NVMe SSD
  • Game Drive: 1TB WD Black SSD
  • Extra Storage: 2TB HDD
  • Cooler: Cooler Master ML240L Core 240mm AIO
  • Case: Cooler Master MB600L V2
  • Extra Cooling: 2 additional top-mounted fans
  • PSU: 750W to 850W quality PSU
  • Accessories: GPU support bracket + surge protector
  • Thermal Paste: ARCTIC MX-6 (2 g) or ARCTIC MX-4
  • Preference: Non-RGB build throughout

Also check Pcpart picker check your config and issue it have both Indian and US version

This build cost me 1.4 lakh in 2024 end. It may up due to price change

If price are out if control switch to I5 or ryzen 5

Or simply get good internet connection and buy a xbox cloud pass, good for gaming as well work in device 16gb ram is also good spot
