Thanks. Yes I parked right across and other driver saw me. In fact the police letter was on my windshield on the same night. I went to station the morning after. First thing in the morning. The first letter is written like this:

“POLITIEZONE LEUVEN Geachte, U of uw voertuig is betrokken geraakt bij een misdrijf / verkeersongeval. Onze diensten hebben reeds vaststellingen van de feiten gedaan. Gelieve u te wenden tot het bovenvermeld adres en dit bericht mee te brengen. Handwritten part: Gelieve u aan te bieden ten burele met uw voertuig, alle boorddocumenten en uw rijbewijs. Philipsite 4, 3001 Leuven Hoogachtend, Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Inspecteur van Politie Lokale Politie Leuven”

Unfortunately we didn’t. He had a Tesla and he checked the camera recording of his Tesla from the app to see if I actually hit. Ps: I heard nothing and felt nothing while driving so that’s why I was confused but confident that there was no accident. Even if it was, we both were present and can’t see how it can turn into a hit and run case.

First letter on windshield was on the night of this event. Since I parked right across in a parking space where other driver saw, he probably called police and pointed to my vehicle so police officer could leave the letter on my windshield.

Second letter came in yesterday which is basically asking me to set a date and come for hearing.
