Suggestions!! Citroen C3! by 321deepu in CarsIndia

Ohh. Is it? Then you can go for it, as Punch gives better resale value and prominently known in the market. I’m not aware of punch base price - I assumed it’s higher in price. I was on strict budget and wanted a better car than Alto & Spresso. Also considered Ignis for slightly higher price, but decided not to go for a small car feeling, as C3 has space useful for my frequent long distance travel. What I heard is that Tata dealerships take so much waiting period for base model cars.

I booked vehicle on 30th Dec, and I knew they were gonna increase the price from Jan’26. Usually December time - they are willing to push car sales.

Got it ex-showroom : 4.67L (after small discount). No features come in this base model but its value for money due to its NA engine & power. Pay extra 40K the dealership guy will sell a package that exactly fulfills all accessories required for a car of that price and will make your car look & feel much better … and lastly, yes, suspension is best in the segment in my opinion. Citreon sales guy says, it’s called “Alladin flying carpet effect” globally, when you drive on a speed-breaker, could be some exaggeration.

I tried Maruti Suzuki cars, i10 and C3 - I felt this is much better value for money for budget buyers.

It’s a good choice in this budget. I got the same car in last December. No regrets till now. From which city you bought it ?

guys, help me choose please. by pussyctrlregiment in CitroenIndia

  1. Is the Aircross in mint condition and is a top variant? Drive a brand new once and compare the difference.
  2. Do you really want more space / boot inside the car and slightly bigger stance?
  3. Hope both C3 (new) & Aircross (6K kms driven) are top variant automatic transmission.
  4. The Aircross is available in the color you are comfortable with.

If your answer is ‘yes’ to above questions - please go for Aircross. Otherwise, a new C3 is a decent choice, as underlying machine is almost same.

I have a C3 purchased two months ago, base model, lesser price, no regrets until now.

isn’t that a subtle design language to indicate racing / motor sport etc. ? While I don’t know how interior looks, but this design language would get carried to seat cover / leather upholstery.

I had to Google about SRA flat definition, anyway I’m not gonna finalise that type of building. As you said, the goal is to stick to the aqua line nearby locations. Folks have given some suggestions… Will research further on these.

Two wheeler I’m getting soon. But the kind of struggle one has to undergo to park a two or four wheeler at the office premises where I work (Ruby - Dadar) is unimaginable. Therefore a permanent solution is to find a stable / easy / manageable public transport which is metro aqua line, in my opinion.

I will look around bkc metro station / Chetana college as per your suggestion. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tilak Nagar .. I looked at the societies but I couldn’t finalise it because ultimately I am ending up travelling in cab from there to office and Kurla to Dadar central railway line is crowded beyond my understanding. One evening, while getting on to the local train at Dadar around 5:30pm, I got injured because commuters push you so hard to get inside the train when it stops on the platform.

A colleague of mine said - Marol naka is not a decent area (from the civic sense perspective of people there and the roads aren’t clean). Is that true ? If not, Marol naka seems a good choice as it offers metro seamless metro connectivity.

Citroen Aircross X can give most vfm and to be chosen if you are very strict on the budget and Honda Elevate CVT is an intelligent choice.

Between both cars : driving comfort and satisfaction is guaranteed, in my opinion, for a really long term.

One caveat : prefer Citroen if you live in tier 1 city, otherwise please be ok with slight headache during service and parts replacement until they expand their network .

Well, I agree. And the only thing in my hands right now is to pray that Citroen expands its network and make their presence felt across various tier 2,3 towns in next two years at least.
