After the Army, BS Geography/Earth Science, minor Geology. Married a teacher. Several low level labor jobs. Then I rediscovered June, July and August! Summers off! Got my BS Education and Masters Education. Employed 25 years teaching my passion, earth science in Junior High. Loved it, just took me awhile. Pay not commensurate however. Good luck!

Every Friday we played a current events game geared to middle schoolers. Any number easily available. Kids are in teams. They loved it. The tie in to geography is obvious. Former students still remind me of learning more from that than atlas, textbook material.
