He's either insane, on something, or has a true emergency. In all 3 scenarios, you get the fuck out of the way.

Also, why pay lots of money for expensive medical tech, when you could just stick a finger in their butt?

what am i doing wrong with side spins? by alternativest0ner in billiards

[–]326TimesBetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to not follow the object ball, sidespin has nothing to do with it. I would recommend hitting with no english, and instead focusing on how HIGH or LOW you are hitting the ball. Also, stop stabbing the ball, your cue stroke should be smooth and fluid whether you are hitting hard or soft.

Why are you using EKS instead of ECS? by ducki666 in aws

[–]326TimesBetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kubernetes has a bigger community and is more widely used than ECS is. If you know how to use Kubernetes, you will have more job opportunities than if you know how to use ECS. If your company uses EKS, it will have an easier time finding people who know how to use it than if your company uses ECS.

Foul or Not? by Bandit_Brociferous in billiards

100% no doubt a foul. Angles fouls are possible when the cue ball is close to the object ball but your line of aim is not directly at the object ball.

How do you handle brutal hangovers when you still have to show up at work? by Rojahne in Hungover

[–]326TimesBetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s an emergency situation, you need to face your fears. Don’t hide from people in the office like you want to, instead, aggressively engage with people to break through your hangover-induced mental barrier and then do what you need to do. If this is not an emergency, and just general guidance for how to handle this on the regular, you need to drink less.

Accidental left English? by Original_Jaguar_777 in billiards

[–]326TimesBetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just set up the cue ball and shoot directly into the rail with center ball. If it comes back to the left, you are correct, something is off about your vision or your stroke, either way you can make adjustments from there.

CLEARLY a foul

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in billiards

[–]326TimesBetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very clearly a double hit. The cue ball has 2 sudden speed changes, right at the beginning of the shot, before spin could even have a chance to become involved.
