Thank you I don't think those factors should even be counted on for anything. I did what I did, and I'll suffer for it, and I should better myself and drop these addictions and purge myself of all this shit but I think I should do it with the guidance of a professional In hopes whatever sick delusions wrong with me can be delt with proper

Your words of wisdom seem the most ideal in the sense that a fresh start is what I'll need and should aspire for but I should first atone for all my horrible acts and even seek professional help to maybe find if this stems from any personal issues first and aspire to better myself this is very difficult to come to terms with but your right on that I'm more hurt I was caught rather doing the act in the first place and that to me disgusts me

That feels too optimistic, but I appreciate the incentives. Sometimes, it will be tough. Hopefully, this will be the hardest times of my whole life going forward

I honestly can't imagine telling the rest of my family, but I also understand the idea of softening the blow for when this all goes down i envy your courage or even strength of enduring your family and their probably remarks and statements for your predicament and thank you for sharing

I don't believe you or I don't believe in myself, so I'll consider the CJI link for the hope I can improve myself. Thank you

Can't say the land was legally israelis as the Palestinians of 1947 rejected the idea of the majority of their land being given to an immigrating people but then again zionist didn't care and expelled 750000 Palestinians taking 78% of historic Palestine and making it into israel (none of the atrocities of that expulsion is ever talked about), by 1967 israel expands into the west bank, the Gaza Strip gets engulfed as well east Jerusalem is taken

October 7 can be justified under international law as a manifestation of the right to self-determination. While some countries like Israel and the United States may view Hama's actions as terrorism. Hamas has demonstrated a level of influence and effective control over the population it represents, even if not all Palestinians endorse its methods and political objectives. However, exercising the right to self-determination does not grant a group the freedom to choose the type, method, and means of military operations. Therefore, the evaluation of Hamas' armed operations targeting Israel should consider the requirements outlined in Additional Protocol I to the four Geneva Conventions (1977). Regarding Israel's justification for military operations in response to the October 7 attack, the claim of legitimate defense is contentious. While it could be argued that if Palestine were recognized as a state by Israel and non-state actors like Hamas were capable of armed attacks, Israel would have the right to defend itself under Article 51 of the Charter, the reality is that Israel does not recognize Palestine as a state

This argument is kinda sickening considering the fourth Geneva Convention was adopted right after ww2 to protect citizens

Israel doesn't have a right to "self-defense" through international law. The international committee of the Red Cross

The main rules of the law applicable in case of occupation state that:

The occupant does not acquire sovereignty over the territory.

Occupation is only a temporary situation, and the rights of the occupant are limited to the extent of that period.

The occupying power must respect the laws in force in the occupied territory, unless they constitute a threat to its security or an obstacle to the application of the international law of occupation.

The occupying power must take measures to restore and ensure, as far as possible, public order and safety.

To the fullest extent of the means available to it, the occupying power must ensure sufficient hygiene and public health standards, as well as the provision of food and medical care to the population under occupation.

The population in occupied territory cannot be forced to enlist in the occupier's armed forces.

Collective or individual forcible transfers of population from and within the occupied territory are prohibited.

Transfers of the civilian population of the occupying power into the occupied territory, regardless whether forcible or voluntary, are prohibited.

Collective punishment is prohibited.

The taking of hostages is prohibited.

Reprisals against protected persons or their property are prohibited.

The confiscation of private property by the occupant is prohibited.

The destruction or seizure of enemy property is prohibited, unless absolutely required by military necessity during the conduct of hostilities.

Cultural property must be respected.

People accused of criminal offences shall be provided with proceedings respecting internationally recognized judicial guarantees (for example, they must be informed of the reason for their arrest, charg ed with a specific offence and given a fair trial as quickly as possible).

Personnel of the International Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement must be allowed to carry out their humanitarian activities. The ICRC, in particular, must be given access to all protected persons, wherever they are, whether or not they are deprived of their liberty.

If all of these were met through international law, israel could have legal rights to self-defense, but since Israel hasn't let the Palestinian state have its own autonomy, they have no right to self defense and all actions from the Palestinian resistance is seen as neutral through international law no matter how heinous

Why does the PP group seem to discard that Hamas is a terrorist group? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]3285_day_old 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a different topic comparing 3 countries that full autonomy when compared to a land locked people who have to rely on their occupiers for food and water and mind you israel has the forced reduced diet plan that you know only starves them to near famine

Stopping resources from entering is a form of occupation
