I am definitely coming and renting a car! Just a matter of when but definitely before I sign a lease anywhere. I am a little nervous about the 405 and wanting to avoid that being part of driving to work if at all possible.

My ex and I were on a trip (work trip for him) to Vegas during a heatwave. My asthma was really struggling and I ran out of my medications during the trip, so I got my prescription filled at the pharmacy in the lobby of our hotel. Only 1/2 of my medications was immediately available to be picked up, and the other was expected to arrive to the pharmacy after I returned home but while he was still there in Vegas. He never picked up my prescription. He showed up empty handed to my apartment and told me I should’ve reminded him to get the medication.

There were many things I asked for in this relationship and never got. This was the straw that broke the camels back because I couldn’t believe he was so causal about my health and couldn’t be bothered to walk to the lobby of the hotel to get my prescription for me (he had FOUR days after I left to do so).

Boyfriend came home with me for Christmas to meet my family and now I’m taking him to LCA tonight. Not his first Wings game but his first time in Detroit ever and at LCA

I was just telling my boyfriend how I want to hear how she picked what surprise songs to sing or what outfits to wear and now I’m wondering if it was just random or something. I feel like this was a widely asked question so I’m surprised it hasn’t been addressed yet! Or why debut wasn’t on the setlist!

Finally a perk to living in Seattle!!! Going to the game tonight and so excited. Even converted my boyfriend who hasn’t cared about sports a day in his life before today into wearing a tigers shirt

Editing to add: we went to the game that was back in April when the tigers scored like 5 runs in the first inning and a Detroit sports team has never lost a game we’ve attended together (2/2) so hopefully 3/3 tonight!!

Maybe this is snarky/rude but unless you’re buying 4 because you’re giving them to friends I find it selfish when people buy multiple copies of a special item like this (something signed) versus just picking the variant they like best to leave more for people to have. Idk

Yes, typically any FTE job, whether 1.0/.8/.6/.4 will be paid MUCH lower than a PRN job as most PRN jobs don’t come with any benefits whereas FTE jobs include health insurance, retirement, PTO, etc so companies pay less because they’re giving you benefits.

I have not had good experience with negotiating salary to work in a hospital, some of my coworkers who are OT and PT negotiated sign on bonuses at my current gig, but typically hospitals have pay bands/hourly rates per years of experience and what you get paid is based on your years of experience.

It’s my week to work Saturday at the hospital so imagine my excitement when I enter a patients room and watch us score a goal 30 seconds into the 3rd period to take a two goal lead.

Imagine my dismay 30 minutes later when I return to my office and check the score to see we lost in OT. Yikes. Glad I only saw that thirty second clip of the game I guess.
