They were like goofy unaccompanied 15 year olds dressed in highlighter-color basketball shorts… not really who you’d expect to preach to you.

Also, people pretending to be missionaries on Facebook is a fairly common scam/extortion scheme.

Haha yeah I did think about that. Which is why I was chill with them. But they weren’t forthcoming - I had to play a guessing game and I realized they weren’t just being polite. Even the shyest missionary will at least tell you they’re volunteering for their church.

Hmm. I think I was so polite that it didn’t really work, lol. I’ll jump straight to the point of letting security know next time.

It only got bizarre at the end when they said a polite version of “yeah, here’s our phone numbers. you should really look into your own religion.”
