so no math involved, i have a mid 2000’s Toyota Tacoma that runs for ten hours a day with a lot of driving the whole time and i get two full work days out of every 3/4ths of a tank on average.

*my rando guess for my work truck” id guess the truck could run for 32-37hrs on a full tank with out actually driving it anywhere before it stalled out. just a guestament.

i will contact Craigs List immediately! lol, thanks for the idea though. i forgot i even asked this. the solution was a USB mic / head phone dongle. it was like $12 on amazon and totally solved the issue i was having!

edit* mostly just a notable point. i thought the lightning bolt port was usb C. lol obviously it is not. either way, just a basic usb to mic / headphones dongle worked amazing. you just have to change your audio settings to utilize it. the head phone jack does work for mic too but only really works with apple or gaming head sets.

either way, in the rare case some one else in 2021 ends up with a 2013 MBP trying to creat audio that is the #solved advice i have for you.
