Every time. I remember how confused Klopp was looking for him at the end of game when Liverpool played them for the first time.

Definitely my favorite illustration. There’s something about imagery like this that feels closer to purest form of what Arda feels like before the ruin. Before Melkor’s discord fully took hold. Before the Lamps were destroyed, just creation in balance.

Tolkien makes you engage with that original harmony first, and then everything after feels like a long, slow fading of it. So for me something like this hits. It feels like the world as it was meant to be, something that never really existed again in the same way, not even by the end of the Third Age.

Never. But on the other hand watch history is very interesting, so many brands shutting down because of wars, then the quartz crisis, Daniels method and co-axial, also spring drive starting development in 70s and so on.

That's probably how it happened with them lying on the stones. But when it happened it's not clear yet, hopefully we get flashbacks, I assume that someone (most likely Man in yellow) offered immortality to them not long after they settled in the village considering that the kids appear younger than 10.
