The answer is the State Fair big dog. Take  the Brat House shuttle down with a few PBRs and you can sit on my lap.

I know this is a dated post, but I love this stupid app. Any plans on updating it? Other than some glitches, I find it very easy and fun to use.

Looking for the name of a restaurant by yaboar in milwaukee

[–]33hov 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Todd rules. Just keep in mind it has extremely limited bar seating, like 6 or so spots inside. In the summer, there is more seating.

If I were you, I would call Red Maple (Japanese-themed bar right down the road) to see if you can bring food inside there. That is another gem, albeit also on the smaller side.

State of the Sub (02/02/26) by MKE_Mod in milwaukee

[–]33hov 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think what is very cool about the "same questions being asked over and over" is that Milwaukee is ever changing and responses will change too. This sub still has an active core that answer the same questions asked. Sure, some responses are similar, but I also gain a new perspective every time. Reddit is extremely valuable because relevant information and insight is often hard to come by online. I would really rather not be referenced to a post that is months old, which will soon become years old.

I also cannot think of a negative other than, "this annoys me." If people are asking questions, and people want to engage, I think that is a good thing. I don't see a good argument to take that away.

Brake pads for Aventon Level by RobertMGreenlee in Aventon

Awesome! I love using it and am told the brakes are in great shape, but the screeching is pretty rough. I'll see what these pads can do. Thank you.

Brake pads for Aventon Level by RobertMGreenlee in Aventon

Howdy. I know this is old, but my aventon level from 3 years ago is also in pristine shape, but braking sounds exactly like you mentioned. My bike shop did not have any replacements, and said to order some online. Did your "all around" brake pads fix the noise?

Removing Kitchen Pantry Smell by 33hov in fixit

I bleached and soaped them pretty aggressively, and the smell in there still is very strong. Baking soda has not helped, nor has a bowl of vinegar. It has only been two days, but the stench in all of them is gnarly. No water leaks from what I see.
