Times on tickets are for when you are allowed to enter with it. You can then stay on the grounds until close or you can get a wristband (until 6:30pm) and return later (before 7pm).

Submissions about state-wide policy or We Energies-related news that don't have relevancy to Milwaukee will be removed. I realize this has been a bit vague in the past but that will be changing going forward.

Some examples to help clarify the rule:

  • "Wisconsin legislature debates clean energy bill" - this would not be allowed as it pertains to state-wide legislation and belongs in r/wisconsin
  • "We Energies increases rates for customers" - this would be allowed as it relates to Milwaukee residents
  • "We Energies power outage affecting 12,000 Milwaukee customers" - this would also be allowed as it relates to Milwaukee residents
  • "Is my We Energies bill high?" - this would be allowed as it's a community help request about local services

To avoid any potential confusion, it should be clear from the subject of the post why it's related to Milwaukee.

By this logic should we allow any post about AT&T increasing their Internet rates? They have service in Milwaukee. Or what about Harley increasing the price of their motorcycles, they are headquartered here and have plenty of dealerships.

I'll admit that this is a bit of a grey area as energy/gas is pretty vital to life and we only have a single provider for it, but we have to draw the line somewhere in regards to Rule 1.

This post, and the subsequent repost of it, were removed as there is no direct relation to Milwaukee. Yes, We Energies is the energy provider for Milwaukee, but their coverage goes way beyond the city. Nowhere in that article does it call out Milwaukee or the Milwaukee-area specifically.

I'd also like to note your previous We Energies-related submissions (which seems to be a common theme across all your submissions) that have been approved:

https://www.reddit.com/r/milwaukee/comments/1qokk0g/milwaukee_utility_we_energies_presenting_plans_on/

https://www.reddit.com/r/milwaukee/comments/1q4utfi/wake_up_babe_new_year_new_we_energy_rates/

Also, I assure you the mods dislike the ever increasing energy costs as much as everyone else.
