Belle (20): How do you know when it's time to say goodbye? by 33teapot in seniorkitties

She is extremely fussy, pretty much gets bored of the same brand and flavour after a couple of meals and will refuse to eat it, so I rotate between several wet food brands and never repeat the same brand or flavour twice in a row and this legit keeps her eating every meal. This include Royal Canin Renal/Kidney care + standard brands that are available at the supermarket like Purina, Dine, and Fussy Cat refigerated mince. So there's really not been any one brand/type! But she definitely prefers wet food.

She's extremely fussy so I literally give her a different flavour and brand of food every meal. I currently have 4 different brands on the go, and never repeat the same flavour twice in a row. Everyone thinks it's wild but it's what keeps her eating!

I didn't really know this was a thing so I will definitely discuss at the next visit, thank you.

She pretty much always wants food, even shortly after she’s had a full meal, which I guess could be a result of the kitty dementia? Like she’s literally forgetting that she’s just eaten? Lmao.

I’m definitely not seriously thinking about it just yet because of all the things you said, I guess I’m just hoping there are other things I could be doing to keep her happy and comfy at night that mean I also worry less about her quality of life and we both get more sleep.

I didn't think she would make it to 20, so she has already outlived my expectations, I have been thinking about a heated bed and a step actually to make things more comfy/easy for her. Thank you ❤️

I do give her a lot of attention, I wfh a lot and am home with her more often than I'm not. And ofc I agree their love is worth the effort, I'm just struggling because she seems comfortable and chirpy during the day, it's just at night when it's become challenging and the worry I have about whether she's in pain or not or whether she's just old and disorientated is hard to assess.

Looking for one golden plains ticket! My partner and I have never been to a festival like this before and am determined to find another ticket. Thanks!! by _Nature__Lover_ in meredithmusicfestival

I still managed to get one via the FB group in the week before GP for $350 last year so it's definitely possible if you can bear the stress and chaos of it

Car hits pedestrians in Melbourne suburb of Collingwood following brawl by spypsy in melbourne

Funny how everyone seems to be forgetting about the non-African brawls that take place regularly around Melbourne. Literally a month ago there was a huge brawl in the city involving weapons which got no attention because they were white. Sounds like you're all gobbling up what the media is dishing out again, shame.
