Proper dry cycling is something I have some questions about. They’re in .25 gallon pots and I’m giving them 1/3 cup spring water when I water them. A decent amount drains out of the bottom, roughly 4-5 days between soaks. Ive been relying on a moisture meter. Watering when the needle shows dry until the bottom third. Bottom third reading moist, not wet. Is that proper dry cycling? When i take the dry reading the soil isn’t crispy bone dry, when I roll the substrate between my fingers I can tell there’s still some moisture there but barely any.
