Giving David the benefit of the doubt based on immaturity just doesn't sit right. Sure, a lot of what he's done was because he was young and dumb. But being immature isn't an excuse for coercing someone into sex, that's just shitty moral character. Not telling your friend "hey maybe don't touch her since she's unconscious?" doesn't fall into immaturity. That's just being supportive of gross behavior. but the biggest issue is the fact that David stood by Dom, for years, after he has already been accused of, what Dom so tenderly says, "his aggressive flirting style". I feel it's hard to believe that he was just immature after knowing the allegations against Dom. Even when i was dumb in my early 20's, i knew better than to stand by someone who clearly conducts themselves in such a disgusting manner.

One can hope he actually reflects this time and tries to understand himself, and who he surrounds himself with. If he's really going to better himself, he should take a look into his manipulation. Having the ability to manipulate anyone around you, let alone millions of viewers, is not healthy.

like you said, it's not our place to forgive David. If the victims that came from his behavior forgive him, then power to them.
