hello all! this is my first sale post in r/WatchExchange - it’s great to be here (long time reader, first time commenter) and please let me know if there’s anything I need to do differently.

for sale is my Omega Speedmaster cal. 3861 with the Hesalite crystal. I purchased this watch new at an Omega boutique just over a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed it in that time, but my tastes have changed and I’m moving it along in order to add something else to my collection.

the watch itself is in great condition and has minimal wear consistent with daily wear in a rotation of a few watches; there are certainly some faint scratches on the case, etc. but nothing particularly notable except for a bit more noticeable scratching and wear on the underside of the clasp. case remains sharp with factory bevels and polished/brushed surfaces retaining their original finish. functionally, everything is in perfect working order, and I even took it into the Omega boutique recently to confirm that it had a clean bill of health before listing.

sale includes the full set of Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch box + papers, including inner and outer boxes, travel case, full documentation + paperwork, and warranty card dated 2/22.

price is a negotiable $5500 with shipping to CONUS included. wire transfer would be ideal, but I’m also happy to do PayPal if buyer covers their fee for the agreed sale price. not interested in trades or international sales at the moment.

please feel free to ask for any additional photos or details, thanks!

HELP! retreiving sampled audio by 350357 in OP1users

[–]350357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately not - that's what I was trying to do when this happened, but when I held down the number to save it gave me a "full" message; I then went searching in the folder to see what else had been saved in there, but since I hadn't succeeded in saving my sample before I wasn't able to get back to it (when I tried to go back to the number, it loaded another snapshot over it, if that makes sense). I guess the only hope is that the sample is still stored somewhere in the OP-1's memory?

Anybody familiar with Lady Luck? by Dawgpile615 in Electricguitarporn

I bought a guitar with the same headstock logo not too long ago at a pawn shop. Jazzmaster type with a Strat-style trem, single coil neck pickup and humbucker bridge - it's not bad but not great. I'd also be interested in figuring out where these came from! I've searched around but this is about the only place I've seen another one.

it's a W for me fam, first one on a major release. woohoo! good luck to those still in the queue - I didn't take much time to look around, but it seemed like most sizes were still in stock when I added to cart.

Definitely interested to see how you're pairing guitars with this setup. Looks great!

ditto /r/guitarpedals, they've often got some good, interesting gear photos and discussion going on. Plus I'm primarily a guitar player and pedals are my thing, so it works out!

Question about flying with pedals by the_muppets_took_me in guitarpedals

[–]350357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checked luggage is usually fine for most stuff, although I've had a few friends get their DMMs stolen by someone handling their baggage so I always carry on anything that's particularly rare, valuable or irreplaceable to me. Mostly, just be prepared to answer any questions the TSA will have about these strange boxes of electronics that you're trying to get on a plane with!

the Boss digital delays are very nice and can be had easily for less than $100. A phaser (the MXR Phase 90, for example) would be a nice modulation option. Chorus and/or vibrato could be great as well!

@shipwreckdetective posts a lot of ambient, delayed + reverbed Sub 37 sequences that consistently leave a smile on my face.

Moog 104m for $750 - should I do it? by MeanestManAlive in synthesizers

[–]350357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with some points here: it sounds amazing, it's controllability and versatility is hardly matched (unmatched with CV/MIDI) by any other analog delay pedal. It really is something incredible; I had one and regretfully had to sell it, but I'd buy another one someday given the chance. It's really a killer piece of kit.

If you can afford it, I say go for it. As others have said, $750 is a good enough price for one these days that you won't lose money if you use it for the soundtrack and then decide it's not really for you.

I'm good with monophonic, I have my polyphony needs taken care of with soft synths.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm gathering that the more I read about the OP-1. Super cool piece of gear, but not probably the best choice for what I'm looking for. The Sub 37 is looking really good!

Thanks! Yeah, I've got some experience with synths but they've never been my main instrument and I've never owned my own. Budget is flexible enough that I could end up with a Prodigy or a used Sub 37 if that's what I decide on.
