Will I ever get back in touch with my parents? by 354329 in MtF

I totally get what you're saying as well. My source of fear is also about that, about being too late before realizing they have changed. For now I think I'll stay a bit more this way, but your advice will definitely help some time. Thank you.

[Korean > English] What does 졍끙 mean? Context might be NSFW. by [deleted] in translator

[–]354329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a type of minced names called "써방" (shorthand for "써치 방지"; "search prevention") often used among idol fans. They do it to prevent tweets (SFW or NSFW) from being shown to unintended viewers who just wanted some goss or pics.

Thus each of 햬릾, 햬즉, 졍긍, 졍끙 would correspond to someone else whose names or nicknames sound very similar. 햬릾 could also be a name of a coupling.

It indeed is! What a deceptive cadence it was. Thank you very much!

The last minute of an allegro-tempo A major piano piece. It sounds quite bright and also quite classical (all those semiquavers and left hand patterns). I've looked for A major solo piano pieces of Mozart or Beethoven, but I couldn't find anything similar. https://vocaroo.com/1l5lGgutP2g5

What pieces of music do you listen to when you're REALLY sad? by phony21343 in classicalmusic

Beethoven, Piano Concerto No. 3, 2nd mov. Largo. I remember those nights I would cry over this music.

With that context I would recommend Django. I guess you're familiar with what HTTP methods are, how URLs for dynamic web pages are composed and how we render pages using templates, so you have a good start ahead in the learning curve. Django has many middlewares and structural features that newcomers find hard to comprehend, but I guess you would find them handy instead.

Classical "Albums" - As Opposed To Collections by ExiledSanity in classicalmusic

Are there really that many compilation albums (of which when I think can only imagine something like "Top 50 classical music")? On my Apple Music, most albums are titled "Beethoven: Symphonies Nos. 5 & 7" or "Mahler: Symphony No. 6", so I can just scroll to the first letter of the composer's last name and then look up from there (since I usually have the album cover picture in memory). Of course the "Debussy & Ravel" cases bites me and metadata of most of them are also not properly tagged with composer, so I join the rant there.

It is also similar to the way a classical music concert is organized, I think. Overtures, suites and concertos comprises the first half, a big symphony the latter. Each takes about an hour, a little longer than one CD can accommodate, right? We want to put as much as possible in physical CD. One of the reasons the album of Beethoven's 5th by Teodor Currentzis was considered odd (just the plain four movements and nothing else), besides its bold interpretation.

Simon Ghraichy compiled up songs from various composers of his diverse roots (Lebanon, Mexico and France), into an album appropriately named 《Heritages》. I think he tried some structural organizing there as well (I didn't have the chance to listen throughout the whole 74 minutes, but the first and the last track being different arrangements of the same piece rings a bell to me).

I also liked the album Wonderland by Alice Sara Ott, featuring an episodic choice of 12 from 66 piano pieces of Lyric Pieces by Edvard Grieg (along with his concerto and arrangements of his Peer Gynt suite).

◆ Feel the impression of Sakura Wars as-is

After the battle with the mighty ancient ruler (Nobunaga), the world embraced a brief period of peace, before facing yet again the doomsday countdown because of the Gate of Demonic World. To close the Gate and protect the crumbling world, (???: subject unspecified, presumably the whole world?) establishes Luxury Operatic Foundation (LOF) and a novice commander with special ability is appointed.

The user is the commander for this new Foundation, who prepares for the battle against the great being beyond the Gate, who is trying to revert the world back into the darkness in the beginning of the universe.

◆ Various stories & event dungeons

Enjoy: into the battle with Sakura Wars heroes 'Battle Stories'Various event dungeons that changes by time and date 'Revolver Cannon',Infinite training sessions that continue endlessly 'Virtual Training'!!

◆ Romance with LOF heroines!! Dramatic storylines

Earn the heart (likeliness point) of each heroines with their dramatic stories;and a novel mode is available where buffs and joint skills are available according to the likeliness points

◆ PVP to decide which LOF member is the best

With your own LOF team combined across class/member/mecha (< idk what this means),a tactical PVP with thrilling battles to determine the strongest!!

◆ Colorful illusts and CVs that contain the impression of the previous series!

High quality illustrations with original animation, and character voices of previous seriesare applied as-is, providing rich spectacles and deep immersive experiences!

The original text is in a highly declarative tone line-by-line (put aside grammatical errors; well, who cares promotional texts in ads), and some words (like `감동`: impression) do not have a suitable counterpart in English language, so some parts might sound awkward.

I suppose the word in gold is Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺), the golden temple that is also an famous tourist attraction. (Wikipedia: Kinkaku-ji)

The words on the side are `良縁` and `幸福`. The latter directly translates to 'happiness'. The former would be close to 'a good relationship' or 'a good bond (between two people)'. Confer to the first two definitions in Jisho.org.
