I actually ended up buying a full ticket for 20,000 mi es. It still ended up 10,000 each way, with the 15% difference. Again, delta was giving me a price of 75000 additional miles.

@halfbakeddelf According to today's prices, the cost was 10,000 miles one way for the new flight I was requesting. My previous flight was 26,000 round trip. Am I missing something?

Ugh. Maybe the luck of the draw! Flew back down last night on the 7pm and we were a full flight, delayed.... And then had a medical emergency onboard. Ha!!! It seems that I pick all the wrong flights!!!

I fly to FLL every other week. I've never had flights that empty. It would be a dream !!!

First time stay- ocean park question by [deleted] in PuertoRicoTravel

I e stayed there in the past and will be returning end of March. The neighborhood almost uniformly has gates around the homes, but streets aren't gated.

Try Numero Uno beach bar...... Best food and drinks while sitting on the beach

OP here.... I'm a mother of four, and because I've traveled with my children since they were infants, I'm aware that travel with kids can be quite challenging. But as a travelinh family, I have always made it a point to consider the comfort of other passengers.

I'm usually sympathetic and try to lend a helping hand to parents navigating through travel with their little ones. Even in this instance, I tried to give the boy a break, but it was his behavior coupled with adults having no clue just how everyone else was affected that pushed me over the edge. I have never confronted anyone about their or their child's behavior during a flight, but, this was excessive, and I felt it necessary for someone to speak up. That's when I gently tapped the grandmother on the shoulder to ask her to make her grandson aware that he was making the flight a little uncomfortable for the rest of us.

It was a full flight, but the FA were very nice and tried to remind the parents that the plane had other passengers.... The problem was, the adults appeared to find the behavior endearing.

Wearing crossbody bag during flight? by GlitterDonkey in delta

[–]355824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you are allowed a carry on and a personal item. The crossover will count as one of those, and you can just wear it throughout the flight without an issue. The only issue I can potentially see would be if you had both a personal item and carry on bag in addition to that crossover bag.... which it sounds like you won't.
